how can i resize the images without loosing the original quality ?
topic says it.
i gotta resize my all thumbs to 70x100 how can i do that without loosing the quality of the pic ? help please |
it's not really possible.
one cool thing i've seen done is when you take part of the full image and turn that into the thumb, rather than taking the whole image. much nicer. much more work, too. |
then how the thumb tgps can get the big thumbs from the galleries and resize them all with the same quality. at least there must be a program that resizing the images ??

Try Webgraphic Optimizer Professional. You can get it at: www.plenio.com I think.
It resizes ans compress with variables. Using this daily. |
well, i dunno. you'd have to show some examples of what you mean i guess. if you're resizing them down, you will lose quality, no doubt about it. you're cutting out a ton of content.

To keep proportions, that thumb will come out to 100x60. Pert small sizewise to see at this resolution 1024x768. If you made it 100x70, it would be distorted.
Photo Shop will do it, if you happen to have that program. |
