is namecheap owned by ENOM, INC ??
just wondering as im going to transfer some domains to namecheap
are namecheap ENOM, INC ? |
yes they are
|
are the ok?
i read some bad stories about ENOM, INC |
Namecheap is awesome. Nice prices, easy clean interface. Live support always helps me when I need it.
Namecheap is NOT owned by Enom. Namecheap is a big seller of Enom domains, but Namecheap is it's own registrar now just like Godaddy or Moniker or Enom. They are still using the Enom platform until they get their backend up and going. Use code "switch2nc" for 6.99 transfers to namecheap. |
Namecheap rocks. GOLDDEAL for 8.88 domains + renewals when you have over 50 in your account.
|
namecheap is a reseller of enom

Namecheap has been an Accredited Registrar since Dec 2007. Prior to that they were a reseller for Enom.

I have many domains there and have never had a single problem.

Add me to the Namecheap fanboy list.

NameCheap rocks, and RichardK is a member of this board.

Namecheap rocks
Their Domainmarket rocks as well, since it's close to impossible to get cheated the way it's designed. All domains below $250 I sell goes through there (I dont care about the 10% fee) |

I make love to namecheap when my GF isn't available :)
|
I heard good feedback with namecheap.
|
eNom overcharged me for ICANN fees and then made it near impossible to redeem the credit.
Screw eNom, I moved all of my domains to Moniker and I couldn't be happier. :) |
I love namecheap and their twitter trivia contests. During these they give away 3 domains an hour, and some other cool prizes.
|
they use the enom platform
|
I have had no problems with either NameCheap or Moniker. I use both for different reasons and highly recommend both.
GoDaddy can GoToHell. |
Namecheap rock, and they send you tons of emails when your names come up to expiration date, so if you let any drop it won't be because they didn't warn you in time.
|
namecheap is still in the "wannabe" stage.
But hey, if you wanna save a nickel here and there and can afford to lose a domain name here and there go for it. |
I use www.Thriftys.com. Never had a problem in 10 + years. Dont use ENRON :1orglaugh
