bigalownz 07-30-2009 07:41 PM

are the ok?

i read some bad stories about ENOM, INC

CYF 07-30-2009 08:05 PM

Namecheap is awesome. Nice prices, easy clean interface. Live support always helps me when I need it.

Namecheap is NOT owned by Enom.

Namecheap is a big seller of Enom domains, but Namecheap is it's own registrar now just like Godaddy or Moniker or Enom. They are still using the Enom platform until they get their backend up and going.

Use code "switch2nc" for 6.99 transfers to namecheap.

Namecheap rocks. GOLDDEAL for 8.88 domains + renewals when you have over 50 in your account.

Pleasurepays 07-30-2009 08:15 PM

Namecheap has been an Accredited Registrar since Dec 2007. Prior to that they were a reseller for Enom.

they're still using enom. They are finishing up their own backend and will roll it out when it's ready.

godaddy sucks, I only use them if I have to.

Sarah_Jayne 07-31-2009 04:34 AM

I have many domains there and have never had a single problem.

selena 07-31-2009 04:37 AM

Add me to the Namecheap fanboy list.

NameCheap rocks, and RichardK is a member of this board.

Machete_ 07-31-2009 05:06 AM

Namecheap rocks
Their Domainmarket rocks as well, since it's close to impossible to get cheated the way it's designed. All domains below $250 I sell goes through there (I dont care about the 10% fee)

I make love to namecheap when my GF isn't available :)

ExLust 07-31-2009 07:13 AM

I heard good feedback with namecheap.

DaddyHalbucks 07-31-2009 09:02 AM

eNom overcharged me for ICANN fees and then made it near impossible to redeem the credit.

Screw eNom, I moved all of my domains to Moniker and I couldn't be happier.

:)

docputer 07-31-2009 10:41 AM

I love namecheap and their twitter trivia contests. During these they give away 3 domains an hour, and some other cool prizes.

Manowar 07-31-2009 10:46 AM

they use the enom platform

DonovanTrent 07-31-2009 10:53 AM

I have had no problems with either NameCheap or Moniker. I use both for different reasons and highly recommend both.

GoDaddy can GoToHell.

redwhiteandblue 07-31-2009 11:00 AM

Namecheap rock, and they send you tons of emails when your names come up to expiration date, so if you let any drop it won't be because they didn't warn you in time.

HighEnergy 08-02-2009 10:40 PM

namecheap is still in the "wannabe" stage.

But hey, if you wanna save a nickel here and there and can afford to lose a domain name here and there go for it.

F-U-Jimmy 08-02-2009 10:43 PM

I use www.Thriftys.com. Never had a problem in 10 + years. Dont use ENRON :1orglaugh
