Anyone got a plasma tv?
I am looking to buy my wife a plasma tv for xmas and I don't know shit about them. Anyone have one or reccommends one!
Thanks peeps. |
I have a SONY Plasma, it's a real TV unlike some brands that are just monitors without turners and speakers...
Go with a sony :) http://www.sonystyle.com/intershopro...50/KZ42TS1.jpg |
Nice, once someone starts promoting my affiliate program I'll be able to buy one :) If sales keep up like they are, I'll get one next month... One guy sent me 40 sales so far in December!

Does it show GFY reruns?
|
hell no, the fuckers are too expensive
|
Not a plasma... but a nice 42" HDTV that was paid for from porn money:

For the price of a plasma, I'd try talking your wife into getting a front projector instead.
|
I have been shopping for a big screen, plasma or rear projection. My wife wants plasma I was ready to go along with it until I started reading the warranties.
They do NOT cover failed pixels and uneven fading of the images. I think I am going rear screen projection |

Start sending us some traffic and you can earn enough Gold Bar points where we'll ship you one for free. We offer a couple of them. It might take you a little while to earn enough points though.:winkwink:

I have a 42" sony plasma built into my library wall. It looks good, since depth was an issue turning a simple bookshelf into an entertainment center. Have is on a 18" swing out arm so you can view it from all over the room.
But if you do not have a unique situation where depth or viewing angle are an issue, I would get a normal tv for the $. |

Get the Sony 40" 40XBR800. Fully HDTV plus you are not stuck with 16:9 for local broadcasts. I have one and the picture is much sharper than the Plasma as the pixel size is smaller. |

Don't know what your budget is, but if you can swing it, check out the Panasonic PT52DL10. Its about $13K. It uses DLP technology which produces an even better looking higher def picture and brighter one than Plasma. You'll be in awe watching this one, its so good makes you feel like you can just reach and touch the people on screen.

Direktor, is that keyboard wireless? I've been looking for a wireless keyboard with the natural layout. What kind is that?

KRL - i saw that DLP on another model this past weekend for around $4K i believe - maybe a Samsung? need to find the ad....
|
I have two. They are selling a Kickass one at Costco right now for $3299.
Also Gateway sells them for $2999, made by LG, also a real good one. Once you go Plaz, you don't go back. |

The fuckers wanted $5K for it...found it online for only $3K... Must say...it's WAY nice man! only 17.5 inches in depth and under 100lbs i believe. I could not find any angle where the picture quality wasn't perfect. Great for any room from any angle! Tek. There's more to know about Plasma TV's.that really doesn't make it all that interesting to me right now to spend the money..even if I had a few "G's" to spend on a TV. |
