You have your first mill earned. Now what?

Seriously, now what? Inspired with your success and going on to make more? Or see the end in the tunnel and converting into a Goa beach hut dweller? Or keeping it lowprofile jsut buying every new iphone they offer?

Do you have your dream at all or just running wild for cash?

Farang 07-29-2009 09:22 AM

Party like a rockstar 6 months straight.

MikesTraffic 07-29-2009 09:23 AM

I want to retire in 2-3 years and live on a house within 10 minutes of the beach, then just work on my car and motorcycle and enjoy life

_Richard_ 07-29-2009 09:24 AM

I should have added a smile to my previous post :)
Seriously, I'd treat myself with a nice new ride or something like that and keep on doing my thing...

A mil doesn't buy much these days. Start working on number 2.

...and once you get to 2, then what?

art914 07-29-2009 11:24 AM

it's true, it seems like 1 mil isnt much these days, especially if you live in states like california, where a beach front property cost around a million or more ..there goes all your money if you just want a decent home to retire...

Veronica Sawyer: You're beautiful...

(not a slag on you in any way, it's just what it made me think of - I'd probably be setting up a few remainder trusts myself)

I love that movie. That and Jawbreaker is hysterical in a very dark way.

Kenny B! 07-29-2009 12:06 PM

GFY math... $1mil message board money = $10k real account balance... 9 times out of 10!

96ukssob 07-29-2009 12:08 PM

take that million and invest it to make 2-3 million in a year, then repeat until I have 20-30 million then invest that in high yield accounts that will pay between 3-5% per year and live off the interest

Never a truer word said. :winkwink:

I went to Thailand for 2 months, even in the early 90s me and my Filipino wife managed to spend a lot. She went berserk in the shops.

Came home and worked hard to make it back.

piskas 07-30-2009 02:31 AM

Killswitch - BANNED FOR LIFE 07-30-2009 02:37 AM

Buy a nice place in my local area, a new ride, nothing to fancy or expensive, a nice Audi will suffice :D

Invest a lot of it into furthering my business and sites to make me more than a mil in half the time.

Aquarius 07-30-2009 02:38 AM

Drugs and whores. what else?

Ross 07-30-2009 03:44 AM

The first million is the hardest, you done the hard part now keep going and going till you have 10 million then retire. Go somewhere cheap and beautiful and live like a king!

cam_girls 07-30-2009 03:50 AM
