I recently came across a site which had my copyrighted images
and I suggest you all look over these sites cause this guy is
ripping people off of thier content. He told me he would remove
the images that he didn't know they were copyrighted but this guy has been makeing alot of money off our content with out any regard for copyrights.He says they are amatuer sites and people upload the images for credits. I'd like to see the model release forms which he has none I am sure. He has links to his other sites on his site I went to. Check it out here is a list of the sites I have found so far.

if you think he's making good money, sue him.

each instance of copyright theft is worth some serious money.

E-mail APIC and ask for a referral to a lawyer who specializes in intellectual property.

Well looks like he might even have some paysites going wonder if it is with this copyrighted content. He has a popup that came up with these paysites as well.

If you look at the site for yourself you can buy memberships for his sites if you don't want to upload images. This is where the money is being made. He does not accept all the images uploaded he actually sorts them he said. And for all the people who want to buy a membership they can.

Hey I am just letting you guys all know. I am looking into doing something about it personally but I suggest you check it out for yourself thats all.

Be careful, many people do not buy from content providers who like APIC.

I don't support copyright theft but APIC is really a bad route to take. They are known to bully people around and pick on many innocent webmasters.

Demand to see his proof af age for each of his pictures and if he refuses, then report him to his host for non-compliance to the proof of age laws. Lots of ways to shut these idiots down, just think about it. :winkwink:

i see what you mean, he's got some banners, and he does push unlimited downloads via paypal... not cheap! $36/month for one of his sites.

on the other hand a lot of his stuff really does look amateurish....guys with the digital cams...

i did see a very few that i recognized from content providers.

Personally I see alot of copyrighted images. With many being mine so I know I will pursue is and I advise others to as well. It's the only way to stop these leaches.

Then do something about it.

If you have them copyrighted...as in the real deal, not some wanna be assumed copyright bullshit, then go after him.

make sure he's not in Nevis or a jurisdiction like that. You would need to put a 25,000$ bond in order to start a lawsuit.

I rarely see anybody from APIC ever posting on any boards. I know the guy could be pretty strident but I don't think he's ever bullied anybody without good evidence they were screwing over an APIC member.

My Wanton Girls clients I'm sure are all pro APIC, i don't sell an 'exclusive license', customers get the content free and clear, it's theirs, to do whatever they want with.

I'm not even sure how active APIC is these days, I went to their site a month or so ago, there's a forum there that is a ghostown, no new articles.......... maybe they have put their resources into running the members area of the site, dunno.

report him to paypal for all of his violations. ebay owns paypal now so it would for sure get shut down. they shut everything down that has a complaint!

if i was licensing/leasing content i probably wouldn't post some of the stuff i do because it would probably affect business. Nobody wants to lease or license content if they think the provider is a total hardass.
