New Ibill EU Policies

who's received the email?

some fun highlights:

- increases to ibill's percentage fees, across the board
- $12 per chargeback issued
- $1 per refund issued
- 10% holdback increased from 6 months to 7 months
- delayed pay periods. 1-15th now paid out on the 5th. 16-end of month now paid out on the 19th
- ibill reserves the right to increase the penalty per refund beyond 1$ at anytime

my impressions from a quick glance.

Only 17%?
Why not let them take the whole 100%?

Ain't that always true with Ibill. I emailed them twice and got no answer. I never had the "chance" to speak to my rep in the past 2 years ...
Kept them with US presence just for rebills.... They are an arrogant bunch of stinky shit hole :BangBang:

ServerGenius 12-04-2002 12:55 PM

They should completely stop billing for Europe that would be a lot
better :1orglaugh

At least this is better than $350 monthly with the legal inc, isn't it?

I have received the same email.

After november 15 neither ibill nor ccbill are working good. There are really big gaps between signups.Especially look at your revsharers report, there are any credit card sales and also there are no rebills for them after november 20.(??WHY)

I am planning to work with Jettis.Because ibill an ccbill Eu are not working properly and I dont expect they will solve their problems with Eu bank connections. Our signups are dramatically decreased 20-30 percent. We are loosing too fast.

This is not a game.

I would hope the processing percentage will come down through competition, but time will tell on that issue. It would certainly help if there was a difference with one of the big three.

And I was actually reconsidering using Ibill for my new sites just yesterday. They have now just priced themselves out of the running.

Silent: Did you see a drop in Ibill processing on the 2nd of December? It certainly seems like it goes down a couple times a week.

quiet 12-04-2002 02:22 PM

as far as signups go, things are better than ever right now.

My sign ups are maybe up 40% over say 6 months ago. I can't say my rebill percentage has increased as much.

There are days though with mysterious and abrupt drop outs where the average falls by about 70%.

In fairness to Ibill I will try them out on my new sites, but I am going with AC Pay on some of them. One of the things I wanted to do was offer affiliates 100% of the 3 day trials, and Ibill cannot
have different percentages between trials and rebills, or any percentage over 70%. Honestly if they could step into the 21st century with some options it would be helpful.

And of course Ibill has some positives...They pay on time. I am still waiting for cheques from Oct for some of the other guys.

they will put themselves out of business
it's called free market economics

it's that simple

Yes certainly. sometimes we pass 4-5 hours without a single sign up.It just started after November 15, and there is no improvement for now.
I have been doing this job for at least two years and I know what is my normal daily signup. This thing is suddenly started after november 15.

Shark 12-04-2002 03:22 PM

Our sales through Ibill Europe are quite high at the moment but I'm also seeing weird sudden drops once or twice a week sometimes.

Rebill conversions seem to be down a bit though making it difficult to move ahead in total sales.

PS. Here is another possible expense rise for some,
------------------
5.4 Payment via Check. iBill Europe is currently evaluating whether it will be necessary to charge for payments made via check mailed to the Client.

Anyone who needs EU processing should contact [email protected].

Tell them Ken sent you and we'll waive set-up fees and BLOW AWAY the pricing shown above for EU customers.
