SAN ANTONIO - The scene was so gruesome investigators could barely speak: A 3 1/2-week-old boy lay dismembered in the bedroom of a single-story house, three of his tiny toes chewed off, his face torn away, his head severed and his brains ripped out.

Why do most of moms who kill their babies like this come from Texas? They mention two other well known cases in the article...both also from Texas.

I heard about that this morning on the radio. Words can't describe how profoundly disturbed this woman had to be in order to commit such an act.

yah seriously.. I dont know how mad, sick or fucked up id have to be to even think of doing something that fucked up.

My little guy had me up for 4 hours over night and the worst thing I could think of doing was trying to sleep while letting him cry. And even then, I couldn't go through with it.

I agree but I think the same way about every person on death row, with few exceptions. If you are 100% guilty or you confess to it or get caught in the act or something and you are sentenced to death you should have 10 - 15 minutes to say goodbye to your family and then go straight from the court room to the execution chamber and die and shouldn't live off of our tax money for the next 20 yrs on death row with me and every other tax payer paying for you to live while I work my ass off.

This topic is disturbing! I choose not to read the article mentioned as it would most likely scare me. I once looked at a thread posted on this board about a cute kitten.....when I looked at it the first pic had this sweet kitten but the 2nd pic had a woman's stiletto heal through it's eye sockets. I was horrified and it took me forever to get that vision out of my head.
Words cannot describe the horrible things that I would do to someone who intentionally harmed a child or an animal!

That's a tough one.

There was a case in Canada here last summer where a guy stood up and beheaded the guy sittiing next to him. Same thing, ate some of his body parts and said the devil made him do it.

That was the guy on the bus right? That's crazy too, but doesn't hold a candle in comparison to a mother doing what this one did to her own child.

It seems to stem from the same illness is what I was trying to get at.
