Experiencing this pain in my muscles and aching and going on and on is my challenge.
The last three or four reps is what makes the muscles grow. This area of pain divides a champion from someone who is not a champion.

That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens.

I have no fear of fainting. I do squats until I fall over and pass out. So what? It's not going to kill me. I wake up five minutes later and I'm OK. A lot of other athletes are afraid of this. So they don't pass out. They don't go on. - Arnold Schwarzenegger

All that we are is the result of what we have thought: it is founded on our thoughts, it is made up of our thoughts. If a man speaks or acts from an evil thought, suffering follows him as the wheel follows the foot of the ox that draws the carriage.

All that we are is the result of what we have thought: it is founded on our thoughts, it is made up of our thoughts. If a man speaks or acts from a pure thought, joy follows him as his own shadow that never leaves him. - Buddha

You are what your deep, driving desire is.
As your desire is, so is your will.
As your will is, so is your deed.
As your deed is, so is your destiny. - Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

We'd be fools not to ride this strange torpedo to the end. - Hunter S. Thompson

'Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who are we to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous.

Actually, who are we not to be?'

Albert Einstein also had some nice ones:
"Everything is determined, the beginning as well as the end, by forces over which we have no control. It is determined for insects as well as for the stars. Human beings, vegetables or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper."

"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them."

"I do not believe in the immortality of the individual, and I consider ethics to be an exclusively human concern without any superhuman authority behind it."

"If a cluttered desk signs a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?"

"Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value."

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."

"Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous."

Thomas Jefferson' quotes:
"Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude."

"I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have."

"My theory has always been, that if we are to dream, the flatteries of hope are as cheap, and pleasanter, than the gloom of despair."

Galileo Galilei:
"You cannot teach a man anything.; you can only help him to find it for himself."

Benjamin Franklin:
"A penny saved is a penny earned."
"Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship."
"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
"By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail."
"Content makes poor men rich; discontent makes rich men poor."
