Comment Spam on WP blogs
 

Does anyone know of a plug-in that actually works for this? I have tried captcha and it did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! LOL

100 + spam comments a day. NOT FUN to have to moderate those.

Use Akismet, it is already included in WP. Signup for a wordpress.com API key then enter it on all your blogs, problem solved. It is VERY rare that a spam comment gets past Akismet.

I think them including it in your plugin directory is a pretty good clue. :)

all comments are spam nowadays, the best thing is to just disable all commenting and be done with it, chances are you have to delete 100% of your comments after the fact already anyways, might as well turn it off in the first place:2 cents:
