I came out to Indiana for goodgirl's 20 year high school reunion. There was a county fair in town so we decided to hit it up yesterday.

Definitely a different flavor than the county fairs I have attended in CA, dirt cheap for one thing. No lines [to speak of] for another.

What is Deep Fried Pepsi?

I asked the same thing. Apparently they whip up the pepsi syrup and inject it in a doughnut as a filling, then deep fry it.

As a kid I worked in my grandparents corndog wagon and the Indiana State Fair.

Deep Fried Pepsi is old news, I tried it a few years ago here in California at the fair

it is way too sweet and makes you feel nasty for a few hours after eating it, kind of like a Krispy Kreme donut double sugar

Yes. We did the Power Surge, The Matterhorn and the Tilt-a Whirl.

No gang bangers in that part of Indiana. I can't even really explain how squeaky clean it is there. Yeah, they have crime, but it is different than LA for sure.
