Euro Security Bank
 

I was thinking of getting an account at www.eurosecuritybank.com. It's an offshore bank (located in Monenegro - Old Yugoslavia). Of course this would be a great solution - to have sponsor payments sent to ths account by wire.

I'm not afraid that the US goverment set this up as a sting, for that would be entrapment, but I am of course suspicious of anything eastern european.

My gut instinct is to use it to play around with smaller amounts of money until I fell more trust.

Has anyone else setup an account, had good, or bad experiences with them?

BTW, thier fees are very reasonable, and they mail you a Cirrus type bank card.

i dont know anything about that "bank" but i can suggest you a couple of companies who have a good reputations among webmasters:

Why eastern european? I dunno, its the first one I found!

Plus, I can setup over the web, and it costs nothing to get an account.

IRS is on to that atm card thing...you can find tons of stuff on the web about people getting screwed and thinking it was some fool proof plan to get out of taxes

I would be a bit concerned personally aside from the personal prejuidices of my own in dealing with an unknown banking facility... and yes, they may be a huge company and I am just ignorant...

but...

it seems to me, if they were a professional organization and not located in the back of a warehouse or something... wouldn't they have a "professional" level programmer, designer on staff to work on their websites?

One of the basic things would be a sign up link.. that works... wouldn't you think?

just my prejuidice I guess. I'll stick with paying my taxes and trying to put what I can into investments, retirement plans and such that I know aren't going to "enron" me over.... or disappear in the night.
