As I mentioned in my blog today, only a racist would use this terminology on an application to Yale.

"As always, whitey now sits in judgment of me, preparing to cast my fate. It is your decision either to let me blow with the wind as a nonentity or to encourage the development of self. Allow me to prove myself."

Safe to say this guy has resentment towards whites ith any authority over him, and has since his college days.

I have blacks in my family who have grown up down here (in the prejudice South) where segregation lasted even AFTER 1964 and they are in no way racist. Dont hate "whitey" etc.... That time in history was an ugly time of lynchings, overt racism and treating an entire race as inferior by the government itself. Im about to go read and fall asleep, however, the reason I create these types of threads is because I feel I have a unique perspective on racism in America. Having not only been attacked by blacks because i was white more than once in my life, I also have had the experience of fighting whites who hate "negro lovers" and had many fights growing up because of whites talking shit about my white mom, black father, and my black brothers.

The belief that all those who suffer acts of racism become racists is ABSURD! I am living proof, and so is my entire family! And anyone who subscribes to that belief does so based on his/her own insecurities, shortcomings, hatred, and fear.

Ive felt racism in more ways than one, and Im tired of black scholars thinking they are the only ones to do so.
