Even though he was no rock singer (he was a crooner, not a rocker), the Doors without Jim Morrison would be like The Stones without Mick Jagger or Nirvana Kurt Cobain without Kurt.

the only person ive thought who could have lead the doors instead of jim was michael hutchenson.... to bad he strung himself up on a door knob

Am I the only one that thinks The Doors just sucked? Damn, that was some nasty fucking "music." The lyrics especially where pretty shitty ass and Jim Morrison was no fucking "poet."

The Doors never left LA and the remaining have constantly been working in the music field.

Hate to break it to you but the show has been rescheduled. Stewart Copeland (drummer for the Police) flipped over his bike handlebars this weekend and broke his arm real bad. They are going to wait for his arm to heal then reschedule.

Fuck.. just realized that because of the change in dates (show has been moved to Jan 9) I will be able to go to the show right after Internext. Coool..

oh, and BTW.. the guy doing the singing for the show is Ian Astbury of The Cult.. not quite as good as Morrison but damn good anyway.
