... I hope you didn´t get a ms optical / wireless mouse ... otherwise prepare to replace batteries once a week .. it sucks.

but: there are some manufactors that offer opticals/wireless with a recharge docking station ... much better !!

I was about to switch to optical when I came across a Logitech Trackball in the sale at Maplin's. I gotta say, other than missing my scroll wheel a little, I'm converted. I've found using it with a wrist rest is much easier on my whole arm. So I'll keep my ball - after all its the only one a girl has got!
