Actually - in a lot of states, the bouncer can act tough - but in reality, there ain't much he can do. It's the dancer that has to press the charges - and few ever do. Seen too many of my friends get screwed over by cheap fuckers.

I'm not sticking up for this cheapskate, but like others said, the bouncer can't really do anything but kick him out and it's up to the stripper to press charges, but can you actually see a stripper calling the cops and saying "I gave this douchebag a lapdance and he never paid!" and actually get the guy arrested for theft or something?

I'm the GM of a strip club, that statement is 100% true.

You can walk into a strip club with enough money to pay cover and buy a drink, then find a girl who will stack a bunch of dances (dancing multiple songs in a row without collecting between... which a lot of girls do), and walk out without getting the shit kicked out of you.

All they can do is have you do if you can't pay is empty your pockets and then they have to send you on your way. They CAN call the police but it's ultimately not worth having a call to service on a liquor license (it's reported to the liquor board any time the police are called) or having to keep a guy there to get a few bucks out of him.

$20 would piss me off as I make a % of the money the girls make, but I would just have the guy kicked out and tell the stripper tough shit.

If she stacked a bunch of dances and lost out on big money (figure every 15 minutes @ 20 dollars a song it's $100 and you lose track of time when getting a little cock grinding) I would kick the guy out, 86 him, and yell at the stripper for about 20 minutes for being such a retard.

No, making someone turn out their pockets is not violating any civil right what-so-ever. Almost every club in the state I live in has a sign posted saying that they have the right to search and customers for any reason at any time. The MAIN reason for this is weapons as it is highly illegal to carry in a bar, another reason is drugs, and the last legit reason would be for other weapons other than guns.

You can't just take the money from the guy, legally. What you can do is threaten to call the police and have him arrested for trespassing, or tell him that by law you are required to report when a patron has had too much to drink and tries to get in his car after you offer him a cab. Honestly I've never had a problem where the guy HAD the money and wouldn't pay. They usually don't have the money, or the girl gets called to the stage and the guy sneaks out.

Doormen at clubs have a LOT of duties, most of which include cleaning. So keeping track of even 10 dancers, 20 customers, getting yelled at by a manager, checking ID's at the door, helping waitresses clear tables, re arranging chairs etc you get a little backed up and can't see everything all at once. Although some clubs do have a person whose sole duty is to keep track of dances. Sometimes it's a waitress, sometimes a doorman.

It's a lot to get into but the cliffs are that legally you can search them on the pretense you are looking for weapons - though it's a civil matter between the stripper and patron if she decides to try to get the money from him and the best thing you can do is threaten to make his life hell if he doesn't pay up and then ultimately refuse him service ever again.

Strippers are pretty fucking stupid but even they know better than to call the police to the club they work at. Most of them run to the back even when City Health Inspectors or Liquor Board walks in :2 cents:

Because that's not the point, it's not pay if you feel like it was worth it. She dances, you pay. If you have a dispute on number of songs danced or what you feel you owe take it up with a manager, not just stiff the stripper.

Coming from personal experience, most of the time I am so busy doing something else I tell the girl to eat the loss and I will make it up to her when it comes time to pay house. It's not worth arguing with a customer over why he shouldn't pay because she couldn't get his dick hard.
