Republican Poker Game

Interesting pic. Would be nice to see Ron Paul and Milton Friedman in the mix to give the picture some balance :)

Sure if RP become a republican president. However, it would be quite ironic to have him at the same table with Lincoln -- maybe that's why they don't really show Lincoln

All i see are war mongering failures. They really do need RP in the picture to show the real Republicans.

True. I read DeLorenzo's book on Lincoln. Regardless of whether you favor the Old Republic (Old school constitutionalist) or the post-Lincoln era, the man sure changed the game.

Jeez. I tried to be nice... it is a picture of all the "modern" republican presidents and lincoln the first republican president, and roosevelt for some reason is in there.

Would it be fair to say that he championed a lot of Progressive (capital P as in movement in late 1800s to early 1900s... not to be confused with small p progressives of 30s and late 60s) ideals?

Well whether they play poker or not doesn't really make a difference about their politics, doesn't it.
