I'm going camping this weekend... im scared!
 

Ive never been camping in my life. Im not an "outdoors" person and the only time I really cared for nature is looking at it through my car or hotel window.

Im going with my gf, her parents, her brother, his gf and her parents. Ive tried to make excuses, but looks like im stuck going. the place is somewhere in Maryland, other than that I have no clue.

I went to target last night to check out a few things and going to the sporting goods/outdoor store today to see what they have. besides buying a tent, bug spray, lots of booze and bringing my air mattress, any other suggestions to make it through this long weekend :Oh crap

You shouldn`t be scared about going to sleep "outdoors" but being scared about traveling with your gf´s parents! Don`t do that!!!

I was thinking earlier this morning [while taking my morning bike ride] how soft today's youth are compared to when I was a kid.

I had no idea they were such pussies too. Man up dude. Go buy a Pendleton, some jeans and a pocket knife. You can at least look like you belong there.

As far as the parents coming along . . . well, good luck on that one. I suspect they are planning on hacking you up and leaving you as bear bait.

i used to camp every weekend - always had an atv, lots of alcohol, and some explosives on occasion. :)

for your trip, just don't forget toilet paper. maybe earplugs for the in laws as well.

firecrackers, guns, booze. That's all you'll need!
I hate sleeping on the ground anymore, I'd rent a fucking camper other than that nothing special about camping then again I grew up in michigan

Sleep on the GROUND in a sleeping bag in your tent. It's good for you!

Make sure to pitch the tent far away enough so when u "pitch your tent" they won't hear you, or grunt and make animalistic noises when doing the deed so u can blame the noise on the black bears,deer, or chipmunks

Don't worry, nature is the biggest fun ever. If you don't see it, just take some mushrooms or acid outdoors on a sunny morning, and you'll revamp your whole life. :D
