Are REVIEW links on tours considered a traffic leak?

Are links to reviews on tours considered a traffic leak? For the eagle eyed among you I also have two link trades in the homepage footer (which I need to remove).

My website is http://www.lukey.com. Go easy on me, it's my first paysite!

yep, they are leaks

yup they are leaks.. if you really feel like putting them on your paysites put them on the landing page and link affiliates to the tour

Some guys have a separate tour for their own link building and stuff, and another thats leak free for affiliates.

The one beef is if the surfer is cookied and returns later by type in or search engine hitting up your tour with the leaks...

What you could do is buy another domain that is similar and use that for your own personal tour. Have the join link go to your affiliates tour domain.

All the text on your affiliates tour, screen shot it and turn it into images, then use the actual text on your personal tour to help with content/keywords there and avoid the duplicate content between the two sites.

Build your personal tour for the serps traffic without worry of anal affiliates like me complaining of one lost sale a year.

Hang on, that doesn't make sense. I'm half asleep and have a bad headache.

I probably meant if he wasnt cookied or the cookies expire after the session or a short time later, 1 day, 3 days cookies etc. Then he comes back on a non tracking bookmark link or from google or type in and signs up and its not tracked.

Im pretty out of it, you might have to disregard the rest of what I said too.

Doug you do seem a bit out of it. Headaches are a bastard, I know.

yes

:)

Pages that affiliates send traffic to should not have *anything* that a surfer can click that would result in the affiliate's traffic leaving the site.

Put them on the warning page.
Then use an unlinked snippet of the review at the bottom of the join page if you need a final selling point.
