Ever have a woman surfer say she was on your site & wanted removed?
So I've been getting these threatening emails from some girl who claims to be one of my models on my site, raising all kinds of hell and threatening all kinds of shit if her pics/videos weren't removed.
Of course the video she referred to was a paid model from Russia, and I even gave her the courtesy of seeing the model holding up the releases, but she just won't back down threatening that she was only 16, and making up all kinds of shit.. she's obviously a nut, and when I found her on facebook and other sites a religious nut job. In the past I get a few of these a year, and usually when I show the model holding the release they say "Oh sorry, looked like me" or some B.S. but this one won't back down. What do you think I should do, ignore, or spend cash and hit up my attorney? |
I have, but its a bit of a different situation because of the tube model.
Mine where 100% true though, and i get them off asap. |
If you have a model release, you don't have anything to worry about.
We have them actually show up at our office! |
Fucking wingnuts.

Can't imagine them showing up in person, that takes some fem-ballz... perhaps you can turn it into an opportunity and sign them if they look like the girls on your site lol :1orglaugh |
I once had one for a dating ad... I am like, "Bitch, you signed up for a dating site and they told you your photo would be used in advertising. You electronically signed off on your rights!"
She had her boyfriend send an Email about flying out to break my legs (they lived 1,800 miles away). I told him his GF is a slut. I have logged his info and would love for him to spend all of his monthly pay check to fly out and make good on his threat. The crazy shit is the ad rotates so by then she is off the site... But then she was also on ohh... 3,000 other sites? |

Just call your tel # provider and have them block her. Filter her emails to trash. problem solved.

You need to be worried about the ones who never say anything, and just show up at your house. The ones that bark the loudest are harmless. I've been over this with cops before and they always have a rap sheet a mile long on the whackos in the local area but they never do anything. |

I got an email like that once from a girl that said she must have been drugged, didn't remember doing anything in the video. She wasn't crazy, though - I showed her the model's official site and that was the end of it.
I would ignore her. Just stop replying and she'll stop contacting you. |

They think it's them because some of my pics/video on the tour have heads cutoff, so it's just a set a tits/vagina or a mouth with a dick in it, and they musta thought it matched their goods lol. |
You should email her from a yahoo account or something and pretend to be the model. Tell her you heard someone was impersonating you on the internet trying to cause trouble with your modeling career, and threaten to call your lawyer.

Ask her to send pics with a magic word written on her naked body to prove it's her. (She has to be naked for proper verification purposes)

I have them sign two releases, and video statements as well. |

Secondly, I'd ignore her completely until her attorney gets in touch. Then refer her attorney to your attorney...and supply him with all the ID, release and contract (if she signed one). I wouldn't worry, though. She sounds like a flake that won't follow up her threats. And yes, we've had a similiar instance in the past. I ignored her since we had her release and copies of ID. She sent a few emails, then vanished. |
If your able to produce a release and 2257 .. tell her to fucker her hat ..
personally I do paper and video addendums of models asking them if they are there of their own free will .. no drugs ..alcohol etc .. then do a closing video of them asking them if they are still there of their own free will and and no drugs alcohol etc .. then the kicker .. ask them if they would like to do some more work for me in other adult content .. ALL of this with their ids in their hands on tape .. Until you see legal paperwork from a real fucking lawyer ... tell her you have some work for her if she's interested and to shut her fucking hole .. if you see legal paperwork ,.. verify it and if it is legit .. just pull the scene .. other wise .. get a life douche bag .. just my 14 yrs+ experience and personal opinion .. |
I've had similar issues with a model used on a dating site. It was stock photography purchased and licensed but she insists we should have to take it down...
Hello? You sold the rights to those photos to the photographer... better luck next time. |
Has she proven her identity?
I would do that first. Ask for her to prove who she is by showing you her picture id. Then you can match it up to your id you have on file, DOB etc.... If you do nothing and she is for real and she does come after you for civil or criminal damages, it will not look good for you in court if she said and proves she contacted you and you blew it off. |
yeah some good advice here...get her identity...you just want to cover your bases :)
|
You should check with your lawyer first of course, but if you aren't making that much money from her content then what you should do is just delete her from your site and be done with it. What ever the real reason is, it's obviously causing her lots of stress, and you don't need her stress to become your stress.
Plus if she, her family or new representation sues you out of state, you'll have to spend money just to defend yourself. Do whatever you think is worth doing of course, but if her content isn't worth the investment you made, delete it all and move on. There's tons of other pretty, smart girls out there that you can work with for years to come. Good luck! |
You should ask her to prove her identity by showing her twat on webcam for comparison with the model's.

Woman surfer? no. I've never taken submissions from random surfers for any of my sites ever.
Models though? Absolutely. I've had many models submit photots and then later request they be removed, mostly due to them deciding to get out of the business or they get a jealous boyfriend and they want their content removed. Releases or not I've pretty much always honored those requests. |
It probably resembles her. My guess is someone from her school or work found the video, then proceeded to spread it like a virus. Now she wants it gone, if you have model releases then don't worry about it.

God is telling her to do it..

BTW - we never are alone with our models - there were at least 5 people on set the day of the shoot - and each one of them would testify that she was there by her own choice. Add that to the signed contracts and releases, the silly ass pic of her holding her id and contract - and the fact that her now ex-boyfriend was the one she was working with. Also had one of my model's new Army husband write me telling me that "Honey" was 17 when I shot the video of her and if i didn't remove it off the site immediately, he would have me arrested. What he didn't know, is that her mother and my ex were good friends and I knew the family well. In addition to the two forms of ID I had on file, I also had her mother's seal of approval. Turns out Honey told her husband that she had only done that one video - and failed to tell about the 4 other guys she brought over that couldn't get it up....... I wrote the little fuck back, telling him that I had ample evidence to prove her age, and that accusing me of shooting someone under age, without proof, would be considered liable - and I would sue to the maximum extent that the law allowed, he backed off. Even sent me a nice little letter explaining that his wife lied to him. In your case, I'd send a notice to the party - telling them to fuck off or get sued for liable and harassment. It's a lot like playing poker - you might never win, might never need to play your hand, but they have no idea what cards you are holding and the story they are telling is never 100% accurate. If you know your shit is golden - then ram it down their religious little fuckin throats........ just my :2 cents: |
i got an email from a non english speaker saying to take off her pictures or give her access to the paysite :) lol
|
I'm normally happy to banter back and forth until they either a) mention litigation b) make stupid threats ["I'm gonna get my lawyer to sue you.."] - upon when I simply state that because they've mentioned litigation, I can no longer speak to them, and will await for their lawyer to contact me.
Normally you a) never hear back b) they break down and start acting like a human w/ manners |
