Tubes resorting to promoting blatant scams now?

I don't think this is the only tube I've seen promoting this asshole but is the one I remember off the top of my head: YouJizz is promoting KevinsMoneyTree.org aka Google Money Tree aka one of the biggest scams going around on the net right now.

http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2009/07/shortchange.shtm

"Google Money Tree, its principals, and related entities allegedly misrepresented that they were affiliated with Google and lured consumers into divulging their financial account information by advertising a low-cost kit that they said would enable consumers to earn $100,000 in six months. They then failed to adequately disclose that the fee for the kit would trigger monthly charges of $72.21, the complaint states. This case was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada."

Basically, by every personal account of this scam that I've seen, most people never receive a thing, and the lucky few who do receive it indicate it's exactly what is on the site they get access to, i.e. outdated shit info that would not make anyone good money. "Kevin" is not the only name that goes around with this scam - there's a bunch of different fake people with splogs pimping this shit, and the fake comments are all the same on them only different people's names etc...like exact same check images, etc.

What next? Promote illegal drugs or underage hookers or something? Tube sites are quickly becoming the face of the industry given they're all by and large the highest traffic adult sites on the net...if you all are fine with being looped in with scam shit like this, keep doing nothing!

You don't make money ripping people off. It hurts us all and the Internet gets a bad rep. Just so a few idiots ca make a bit of money for a little while, before the move onto their next scam.

But the real culprits are the people processing the payments, are they so desperate they need to work with scammers?

No kidding.. then again, i'm sure some offshore small time start up really doesn't give two shits what you or anyone else thinks, it is "business" after all. Money talks, and bullshit walks. :2 cents:

Definitely - it all will add up to the pendulum swinging back to people being hesitant to use CC's online, when 99% of us aren't trying to secretly bang their card for more than they want. As much as the tubes doing this is more detrimental to adult than to the net as a whole, this scammy shit being spread by big sites like these hurts all e-commerce. Why can't they just do what other internet marketers do and convince people their shitty info product is worth $1000 and charge $100 for it when it's really worth $1?

It all filters down to Visa and MC. Killing the scammers breeds trust and more money the long run.

They can make everyone happy - stop pirating videos to feed their tubes and instead make amateur videos with product placement - like have a dude snorting coke off a chick's ass and mention that he gets the best shit at JoesCokeShack.com, lol. Or do a deal with Peter North where they have his vids and after he shoots his load, put a clip with him like "Boy, that sure was fun covering her face like that! But didn't you know that you can do that too? With these jizz pills, you'll be paintin' 'em white in no time!" Or get Vince "Slap Chop" Shlomi to do it. "Stop having a boring load, stop having a boring life!" lol

I'm surprised Google didn't go after them for TM infringement.

Some questions..

1. Is this Program still open?
2. Were people making a lot of money promoting it?
3. Where can I signup?

Pleasurepays 07-21-2009 08:14 AM

the sites they are talking about in the lawsuit is pretty brutal. not just the fact that they were billing the cards later for 79.00 a month or whatever... but the landing pages/sites, the claims, the endorsements, the quotes etc... all totally pushing the limits of legality and definitely opened them up to civil claims as WG pointed out. it was just a matter of time before people started getting popped.

I think I remember seeing that and people were up in arms that they weren't doing anything about it. One thing I've noticed is that they start up fake news sites like every other day and drive tons of traffic to them somehow - Facebook may be the main way they do that, and why not...they probably get a lot of gullible people there that fall for it.

BradM 07-21-2009 02:29 PM

This is still huge in mainstream. Anyone looking to promote it, hit me up i'll get you the offers
