So who thinks mom was on cellphone but news rather report hero story than real story

http://www.wisn.com/news/20109954/detail.html

stories like this aggrivate the hell out of me.

Mom "loses control of SUV" on street, hits tree, flips SUV, kids are burning to death inside, people help and get burned themselves. Heros deserve applause, however, how come there is never mention of what mom was doing to "lose control of SUV" on a residential street with no traffic or accident.

She simply "lost control"

I say bullshit, she was on cellphone and news just never reports real story, and would rather write up the hero story, and never point to mom for burning her kids....

one child is burned 30% of body... i applaud the brave firefighters (off duty) but mom needs yto b quesuoned

slapass 07-20-2009 07:50 AM

Why can't she have blown a tire or swerved to miss a dog/baby/old lady?

that would be better than the police claiming "she just lost control"

there was no dog, no old lady, nothing in her way, nothing... she just ran into a tree.... as I said, CELLPHONE. :thumbsup

so cops need to ticket her for lack of seatbelts then, kids shouldnt be "jumping" in a car... no excuses. However, the story suggest the kids were actually in seatbelts, maybe some werent,... considering the one who was burned the worst was locked in seatbelt burning....

Awesome footage. BTW I'm sure the mother will be questioned here. No doubt, but the real story is the people who came to save these people. Heroes.

because police gave reports to news stories that claim she just 'lost control" - Police aslk what happened at scenes like this. She told them she los control. Code word for cellphone.

Ive read more than 5 articles on it, and nowhere did a single article mention "when asked why she lost control, the woman said she swerved to miss dog in street"

All news articles say she just lost control, if there was a dog or old lady in street that would quickly be mentioned, you know this., I know you just like to post this way, but really, you know theyd mention it if it were true.

Fletch XXX 07-20-2009 08:15 AM

have you never been in accident?

cops QUICKLY ask questions. Anyone who thinks the cops didnt, is very naive, or just never been around a pig at an accident scene lol

Here's what another article says: "The 32-year-old mother was driving the SUV when it left the street, hit a tree and burst into flames, police said."

Here's another articles wording: "The 32-year-old mother was driving the SUV on Milwaukee's south side Sunday when the vehicle crashed, flipped on its side and caught fire, police said."

Notice that in the examples I pasted, the woman was driving the SUV when "IT" lost control.. and "the vehicle" crashed.

At least in the originally pasted article, SHE lost control. It's ironic that even though it's lame in terms of why, it at least places her properly at fault. Many many times in crashes, the article will simply say that the vehicle left the road, or so and so was driving along when suddenly the vehicle flipped. It is annoying I agree.

Could be she simply turned a corner and rolled the SUV.

Or hit the curb with a tire and over corrected.

SUV's/Jeeps are top heavy and are known to roll over during a sharp turn even at low
speeds.

There will be an estimated 70,000 SUV rollovers in 2002, in which it's estimated 2000 people will die.

She did lose control...and of course she will be questioned...but she could have lost control for many different reasons...including medical reasons. BTW...now that you are a father...do you still paint your fingernails?

Furious_Male 07-20-2009 09:50 AM

It could have been a number of things. I am sure they will find the cause soon enough. It very well may be a cell phone but to be honest the media loves the cell phone causing crashes type stories. I am thinking they would have ran with that if anyone at the scene gave an indication that a cell phone was the cause.

She could have been tending to one of the children. All it takes is a quick look back to hand a child a toy for an accident to happen. Hell she may have swerved to avoid a small animal like a squirrel.

The media is handling this right for once and reporting what they know and giving credit to the people that saved them.

Stop with the logic.

Agent 488 07-20-2009 09:55 AM

i would go with the obvious: a woman driving a suv.

They didn't say she was on a cell phone either, but you seem pretty convinced that's what happened. :2 cents:
