Don't get gimped by "url shortening" services
People pass these a lot in forums and Twitter. Be careful, not all of them are harmless. If your antimalware app is not set up properly or updated, your PC might get jacked.
Use http://sucuri.net/?page=tools&title=check-url to check out "shortened urls" that you're unsure of. This free tool will unpack the url and will check with Google and Site Advisor to see if it's an attack site. |
I like where your going with this, but I need to enter in my shortened URL on this site to check if it's okay?
Yikes... I really don't see this taking off any time soon. |
What, you mean the other advantage of where they are online for 6 months then just redirect all your traffic to PPC isn't enough?
