it seems, that buliding has been up for quite a while and NOT new construcion. Check out the conditon of the roof in the shots, it shows years and years of aging :2 cents:

maybe because the windows came from US Window Factory and not for Mr Ying Lee from alibaba

article is wrong, that building is under transportation to Hungary, half of our country is made of similar buildings. haven't you heard of the famous "second-hand-buildings" project??

yeap it looks like the building is a one part...I cant see damаge ...doesnt look that is something wrong with the building!

Fair bit of information too... seems it was a building process blunder rather than a specific design fault.

Still, one can't help but wonder how much the average value of the remaining apartments has just fallen... (no pun intended)

all buildings will eventually fall, mankind is not meant to be here forever thats for sure

In case you don't know how it happened:

(1) An underground garage was being dug on the south side, to a depth of 4.6 meters
(2) The excavated dirt was being piled up on the north side, to a height of 10 meters
(3) The building experienced uneven lateral pressure from south and north
(4) This resulted in a lateral pressure of 3,000 tons, which was greater than the pilings could tolerate. Thus the building toppled over in the southerly direction.

Looks good for a new set for a movie studio....to do some special FX
