    how popular is poker in the US?

    I mean, I know it is really popular. But I read somewhere that it is the 4th or so most popular sport in the US. I don't know how accurate it is. Links appreciated.

              I don't have any links but would say it is a billion dollar industry... lots of sites banned us players so there is a HUGE market in the us

                                      i used to play at the casino in milwaukee pretty regularly before i left wisconsin and it was busy as fuck 24/7, even on christmas day.. that place rages for a city with a pop. under 1 mil.
