Well, this is embarrassing.

Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page.

You can try:

* Removing one or more tabs that you think may be causing the problem

* Starting an entirely new browsing session

I've had that happen once or twice with 3.5 but not yet with 3.5.1
Doesn't seem to be a big deal, it usually lists them all, I hit reload and it brings up my tabs.

Yes, there have been a number of different issues I had with new FF upgrade.

I just rolled that shit back to 3.0 last night. I have no time for that madness. Release products when they are fucking ready.

:disgust

Same thing here except:

I have FF crash a LOT lately, used to be never.
FF is slow as hell, even typing into message windows is slow.

How can you do a rollback? Uninstall then reinstall older version I presume?

FF crashes a lot for me too. Anyone else have an issue of single clicking on a tab and yet it makes that tab pop up into a new window randomly??

Correct.

Remove it in add/remove programs.

Make sure you do not delete preferences. There is a box you check, or not. Once removed, reboot your machine to remove it from registry on your machine.

Then when you install an older version (after the reboot). Your favorites, and shit is all imported back in it. Tada. No more grief.

Yeah....That has happened a few times here as well.

The fastest FF is the slowest for me ever, though never had this problem before, but I'm thinking downgrading already.

That's a new one. I upgraded a few days ago and am loving it.

Juicy D. Links 07-18-2009 02:08 PM

Hopefully, FF addresses these and other issues reported at their forum.... soon.

HighEnergy 07-18-2009 07:09 PM

I've had no problems with v3.5.1

Here's ALL Firefox downloads since v1.0 (Dec 2004)

k0nr4d 07-19-2009 12:28 AM

agreed...3,5 is total shit.

SilentSound 07-19-2009 07:22 AM

Funny - 3.5 was OK for me, and now 3.5.1 is doing that alot. I'll stick with Chrome, despite the fact that the newest release for me is the worst ever, getting very unresponsive at times, right-click sometimes not working, etc...
