Is anybody else getting a pop up on google? The root URL of the popup is always http://xmlsearch.gator.com

Gator is fucking spyware. Check your control panel and remove it.

How do I get it off? Its not in the control panel as far as I can see. Everything in there I recognize.

You should also edit your Registry... Pretty sure Adware won't take it out.

The version of Kazaa Lite that's on my personal site does not install that host bullshit. It's the newest version too.

Its not. That extra hostfile is optional to install (at least with the 2.0.2 I installed a couple of weeks ago). And that hostfile is prob. considered a good thing (tm) by many users too.. not just by pornpeddlers ;). Anyway, its optional.
