My advice / warnings about this to fellow GFYers:

1 - Iroquois Poker is not a very good interface and definitely being on their network is not worth $5K initial fee.

2 - Hosting in Costa Rica is a TERRIBLE idea. While a few serious guys in the gaming industry do, they have their own datacenters. Even then, all internet in the country is controlled at the top-level by one company (Racsa) with a monopoly (for now anyways). Mostly, people are licensed and operate from here but don't host here.

We have a running joke on why not to host here, because you're connection will be dead every time it rains; which is six months of the year. Or, it may go down simply due to thieves cutting and stealing the fiber-optic lines which happens all the time. I can probably list off another dozen reasons.

3 - There are / will be much better solutions geared towards adult members. Sure, an adult member will play poker on a non-adult site; but for optimized conversions, an adult-themed site or site-specific skin will ALWAYS do better. Not to mention, you need to be on a large network with sustained critical mass to make any money. Even then, poker is hard to monetize; casinos and sports betting make a lot more per player.

I think you get what you pay for applies in this thread? Go 100% legit with good software, good servers, a GOOD LICENSE. You don't want to risk fucking up your brand by going cheap on the obvious.
