For the first time in 40 years.
 

When I started the car to go to LAX to pick up goodgirl I noticed my odometer was at 33350. The reason this surprised me was that I remember talking to her in Indiana on July 3 about how many more miles she had on her Charger, as mine was as an easy to remember, 33333.

That means that since July 3 I had driven my car a total of 17 miles. In that same time period I have ridden my bicycle at least 35 miles, at a bare minimum. So, for the first time in 40 years I am actually riding a bicycle more than I am driving my car.

Don't think I ever anticipated that happening.

how many miles on the other bike in that time as I doubt you are living as a shut in these days :)

Probably 250 - 300. And I drive goodgirl's car more than my own in some months . . . . like July for sure.

They made me smile too, but truth be told, it isn't a green thing. Just been bike riding every night for exercise for me and the dog.

I usually let my car idle in the driveway while I am gone.

Bike ridin' is a great way to get around to do photography. I often load the bike in the vehicle and drive somewhere I've never cycled...then hit the trails with the camera and GPS.

I just got my bike out of storage, I need to fill up the tires, then I'll be ready to go!!

My bike won't fit in my car. I wish it did.
