Do you know what the national sport of Kyrgyzstan is?
I didn't either until a few nights ago, while sitting in my living room working on my laptop, when I saw this show called "Madventures" on TV, hosted by this crazy Russian. It's called Buzkashi - needless to say it took me a few minutes to wipe the WTF off my face.
To add to it, the open plain they were playing this sport in was filled with weed plants growing wild. So there you have it folks, if you ever feel a craving to grab some friends, all hop on some horses, and ride around trying to pass a headless goat carcass back and forth and throw it into a mound of earth, all while being surrounded by fields of weed, go to Kyrgyzstan! |
