Sure Justin or whoever you are, I have no money.

Any car? Ariel Atom with an LSx based motor.

Are you looking at Sedans, Coupes, SUV's, fast, luxury, big, small? Details would be helpful.

M5 comes pretty well stocked at 85k

not much you can add to the thing that it doesn't come with standard :2 cents:

Not sure where you've been shopping...but with the exception of a couple of audio options, and a couple of fancy seat options its loaded msrp. Now the problem is finding a dealer with a stock M5 without the useless options.

Buy a used car for $12K and use the rest on traffic and build something that requires a little cash. Then wait a year and use the profits on a $200K car or do this again and think about a Bentley.

I live in Allberta, been in Red Deer for a few months, and if you take a drive across town down Gaetz, you're going to see at least 5-6 different challengers on any given day. I went home to visit family in a town of 4000, and I know of 3 between the highway entrance to town and my old man's place. The fucking things are everywhere here. They are the Semi-ballin Cavalier of the highway. Every middleaged dude with a yearly income closing in on 60k ran otu and bought one of the damn things I swear. Buddy was thinking of getting one and just cruising around over the period of a week he realized just how not standout or cool they are at all.

Don't get me wrong, they are a nice looking car, but god damn everyone and their uncle has one of the things..... :2 cents:

Don't waste your money. Small cars are really zippy these days, easy to park and cheap to run. Do the environment a favor!

get one of the new dodge rams dude they are mad nice or a chevy tahoe. dont get something foriegn or girly.

96ukssob 07-14-2009 08:35 PM

you can find a sweet deal on a year old M6 or M5 for about that price range. nothing wrong with used, most people just cant afford the payments anymore and have to give it up. If your not into sports cars, you can find deals on an mbenz S63. Audi just changed their front end, so I wouldnt by anything but a 09+

if you find a good deal, you can actually drive it around for about a year then turn around and sell it and not loose any money (win = price - payments < resale cost). Thats where Im at with my 2 cars now. I bought a new car years ago and ate over $8k on resale. I could sell both my cars now make money (not profit).

Plus 2 for the Audi S5.

My wife is due for a replacement on her Ford Explorer, and I've been looking into getting something different. I mean, I'm glad we had the Explorer - it was a work horse, and our daughter more or less destroyed the back seat with her messes. But it's time to ugprade to a nicer SUV. I don't want the same crap everyone else has, and I've been looking into Audi.

Next up I'll be getting something new, and I'm looking at the Audi S5.

if the guy got $90g's to blow on a car I don't think he needs anybody's advice here about business... :2 cents: back to topic, 750li or s550 :pimp

digitaldivas 07-15-2009 12:16 AM

S class Benz

slapass 07-15-2009 12:19 AM

I would give some serious thought to a year old. In the US you can still get huge deals on some of this stuff. You might get a m5 one year old and save 20k or you can buy the new one and turn the key and have lost 20k. The market is just that soft last time I looked.

slapass 07-15-2009 12:20 AM

oops forgot to mention the car. Test drive a m3 convertible. Fun as hell.

Richard Dawkins 07-15-2009 12:35 AM

This guy has 8 or 9 dollars to spend on a car, at most. I say he should save up his money for a few months and buy a bus pass.

roly 07-15-2009 01:14 AM

a nearly new audi R8

I'm in Edmonton, I don't see very many Challengers here. Everybody is driving a Chrysler 300, with chrome doors and rims and everything and a fancy chrome grille. I swear, what a fucking stupid waste of money.

I drive a 2008 ML350, which I bought brand new. Now I'm seeing the new E Class, and I am thinking that it is one nice car. I have never liked it before, but the new headlight shape is really nice. And it has a ton of new features that aren't even in the S Class yet.

So that is what I suggest you buy.

seeandsee 07-15-2009 01:50 AM

get some Porsche, what else...

huda 07-15-2009 02:22 AM

For the everyday sports car there is only one brand: Porsche. Get a Porsche Carrera 4S Convertible
If you drive around with the crew then get an M5
Style and class: Maserati GranTurismo
http://www.eurorevenue.com/huda/download/maseratiGT.jpg

Keep it German or Italian

docputer 07-15-2009 05:30 AM

I like the idea of buying a year old, or maybe even a current years model with miles on it.

My brother found a woman in the Hamptons who's ex bought her an 2009 M5 and she then changed her mind and wanted a SUV. He offered her 35,000 for it, and she took it. He ended up with a low miles M5 for what he would have paid for a Nissan Altima.

idtapdat 07-15-2009 05:32 AM

I would buy a car to park infront of my new house with that.

SinisterStudios 07-15-2009 06:37 AM

swapalease.com is your friend, screw wasting all your cash on buying when you can find tons of suckers who couldnt afford their cars in the first place and now have to get rid of them since they cant pay the payments.

One of my current cars is from there and im looking at M6 this week that some poor sap cant afford. No money down, they ususally give you a incentive check upfront to take the car, and you can write it off as a business expense. I get a different car every 12-18 months, and it usually cheaper than owning

Ross 07-15-2009 06:40 AM

M3
Porsche Carrera
Nissan GTR

3 very good cars.

Raf1 07-15-2009 06:43 AM

unless you are filthy rich and 80-90g's is nothing to you, then I would suggest getting something cheaper. I did the same thing a few years ago and regretted buying a car that I had an unpleasant time paying off.

LiveDose 07-15-2009 07:07 AM

Funny asking other people what car you should buy... Get a used Yugo and gamble the savings in Vegas.

BradM 07-15-2009 08:10 AM

Take the 9k cash you have and buy a kia. Then take the remaining 71-81k and reinvest it in your business.
