an associate of mines recently found jesus and has relinquished his sites and now plans on giving his porn savings to the lord to be blessed...can porn people be saved?

There really is nothing wrong with porn. It was not until man ate from the forbidden fruit that he even knew he was naked. Thus God meant for us to be naked and to see each other that way. So I do not see why God would hate us for taking pictures and showing people the way he intended us to be seen. If you do not believe me read Genesis III 7,10,&11.
