I am not going to carry around my GL2 everywhere and I'm always seeing shit that is hilarious and can never record it.

Been seeing commercials for these-

And have been thinking about picking one up. for 250 bucks they don't seem like a bad deal at all. Looks like you can completely customize them with your own images - would be pretty cool to carry around for people that do exhibitionist stuff or even to give away as promos.

I bought one about 6 months ago, hardly ever use it anymore

how did you like it? if you want to sell it I'll take it off your hands if it's the HD one

it works good, I wouldn't sell it because it might come in handy some day and it's only a couple hundred dollars


don't get the hd one, the mino blows away the hd one, the hd one is a fuck-up (don't just listen to me on it, read the reviews)

I like it, but it is just something that once you have it you don't use it much, because it is too hard to pull out, turn on, and start recording because in real life good stuff happens and is over with before you can get the recording going.... it would be good if you hang with people that you want to record, but quick stuff in action seems to never be quick enough (the on button is little and hard to press, and takes a few seconds to boot up, like if you are driving along and a bear runs in the road, by the time you get the camera out and on the bear is long gone lol)

Yes, because I'm defintely looking to shoot footage of bears running across the road ;)

I'm looking more to use it out and about where it would be SUPER obvious holding a camera that's a foot long. Yanno, naughty stuff.

You're saying the Flip Mino is higher quality and more worth the money than the Flip MinoHD?

yeah, the mino is better than the minohd

it's a fun little item, the quality is good, easy to use, worth buying for the price.... I just don't use it as much as I thought I would when I bought it, but it does what it is supposed to do very well

as far as stealth goes, people that see you with it instantly assume it is a cell phone camera

I'll probably be ordering one sometime this week. I don't mind taking my XSi with me because with the stock lens on it I can still carry it fairly easily, but unless I'm on an actual shoot somewhere or covering a drag race I'm sure as fuck not lugging around the Gl2.

Plus I think it's pretty cool I can have a logo put on the back of it for free to help promote my site/business.

I know I found it hard to believe too that the mino would be better than the hd, but I did alot of research on it.... the mino is an engineering masterpiece, a home run for the engineering team, for some reason the mino hd is a bit of a fail... check the reviews if you need more details
