10% seems really damn steep. :|

ive used scriptlance.com without issues, never used elance, its a good source if you are needing cheap work done, so the fee is bareable

What are you looking to have done? Someone here could probably refer you to someone without a fee.

I've looked on forums -- unfortunately it is pretty esoteric shit requiring fairly high-level OO design pattern knowledge.
