Namecheap/Enom preventing transfers :(
Whois.enom.com has been buggy/unresponsive for at least 5 days now. The server has been returning incomplete or no whois info at all.
Result: It's now impossible to transfer domains away from Enom/Namecheap to other registrars. Namecheap knows about this but they are still not convinced that this is something they need to solve. imho: 1 day of technical problem: ok, shit happens. 2 days of technical problems: ok, shit happens, but damn that's a lot of shit. 3 days of technical problems: ok, shit happens, but might wanna hire someone who knows what he's doing. 4 days of technical problems: WTF guys! 5 days of technical problems: I now seriously doubt this is a 'technical' problem. |
I have no comment on this.

Code:
whois namecheap.com |
That sucks, I use namecheap as my main registrar and Moniker and Godaddy as backups.
