i think beauty and love go hand in hand. for example, my boyfriend calls girls hot or sexy or skanky fuck whores or whatever... but he only calls me beautiful. :)

as much as bitter and unatractive women love to claim that magazines define whats "beauty" when it comes to women.... i've always found it interesting that every culture has a universally agreeable view of what a "beautiful women" is. i mean... you can watch a special about some amazon tribe that has never seen another human outside their tribe or neighboring tribes and the girl in their tribe they all feel is the most beautiful is always the hottest girls of them all.... its never the scraggly, one legged, toothless woman with boobs hanging down to her knees.

That's going too far...

though there may be media imposed standards of 'beauty'

it is, and always will be, in the eye of the beholder

no one will ever universally agree on a definition

but all will have an opinion

and we all have at least one person in our lives that we consider 'extremely beautiful' , tho all around us seem to disagree with our perceptions.

The age old saying. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

Defining beauty is like describing a sunset to a blind man.

I did meet the perfect 10 a long time ago. Long story..

I cannot define beauty. I can only define things that are beautiful.
