sponsors: what won't you use RSS feeds for news instead of newsletters?

if cnn does it why can't you ?
here are a few advatages:

- no spam filters putting newsletters in the spam/junk folder, adding to "friends list" or "white list"
- an affiliate doesn't have to keep updating the newsletter's database if he changed his email
- you can use a spcial rss feed just for news and one just for FHG or whatever and you don't have to mix between the 2
- easier to update and maintain - no resources needed (server to send emails , 3rd service etc.)

what do you think ?

it will require affiliates to subscribe to these RSS feeds
with the email method is automatic

You can do member feeds for updates, site changes, news, stories, ect.

You can do tour feeds, show recent updates, published galleries, promos, specials, ect.

You can put them on free sites, dump your galleries/promos into them, and people will use them like crazy.

Surfers can subscribe/watch to them in a browser, google/yahoo, ect home pages, facebook/social sites of every type.... and they can be emailed to the member through google, you can send them to phones/text messages, or straight into every reader on the 'net..
