GFY + Firefox = Seemless use of the site

GFY will no longer be supporting IE so nothing will work for you and no one will support your requests to fix a website that works just fine in every other browser.

Time for you to make the switch.

StuartD 07-06-2009 01:02 PM

Read a statistic that most of the world still uses IE while the United States mainly uses Firefox.

And how much of them have credit cards and buy porn?

My stats show that less than 60% of my surfers use IE.

OrangeContent 07-06-2009 01:12 PM

No problems in firefox :)

Tom_PM 07-06-2009 01:16 PM

I'm currently on ie 6.0 and it's only a 2Ghz celeron machine running xp home service pack 3 I think.

GFY works fine. The new skin is pretty animation heavy, so a bit stuttery depending on what other banners/flash load. But acceptable.

Fuck IE. SEriously... piece of spyware loving crap.

I'm a relatively recent FF convert. Love it. Add on ffvb and you've got yourself one helluva forum.

Thanks StuartD

Sounds like a profile issue to me.
Try creating a new profile by running "firefix -P" and create a new test profile. Then visit GFY and see if it still crashes.

no idea, but gfy is the only site crashing for me.

and if i type "firefox.exe -profilemanager" in the start>run command, it just opens firefox and doesnt launch profile manager, weird.

Fletch XXX 07-07-2009 05:18 AM

was able to get profile manager to launch and created new profile, didnt work, gfy still ctrashed before i could even make this post in time lol

wow, that's quite the problem. I've never heard of such a thing, something has to be confusing FF quite a bit on this site alone to do that.
But it's not happening for anyone else so....

tranza 07-07-2009 08:37 AM

I dont understand how people still use IE!
