Anyone else noticing payments getting later and later?
 

Last few months I have seen in an increase of late payments from sponsors I have getting payments via epass. :disgust

Yup, I have to run after some of them every month, others just stopped paying and replying... Honest people are becoming harder to find.

I have to chase some of them to.
Fucked up times. Can't even get my honestly earned money on time.

I never pay late. Ever. So send your traffic to me and get $55 a join on time everytime. Easy solution:)

This is when I'm glad I promote mostly ccbill sites. A single, aggregate payment that's always on time.

Of course in the long run relying on a single processor may have made me less $$$ overall... but I'm looking forward, not back :D

yes. some have just flat out quit paying also. most places don't even bother with an excuse anymore, let alone reply to support mails.

It is not just sponsors. It is across the board.

You have more people who are 'waiting on payments' before they can do business. Before, you could close out things fairly easily and not have this 15-45 day waiting game of people trying to get their money together, or waiting on payments.

It is not completely their fault. When people do not pay them, they can't pay me. When it is done on a big enough scale, i.e. sponsors, then you start seeing a rippling effect going through the industry to start effecting everyone.

Yes. I find it annoying. But as someone else had said, sign of the times with the economy.

So with your experience is it mostly the PPS' that are late?

And sponsors that are late with payments very often say that they just have a problem with loading money into their Epassporte accounts. Can it be true?

that's a common one. of course doesn't explain why wires and checks are also late from the same batch.

I have not received any late payments the last couple of months, maybe 1 or 2 that has been at max 1 day late but I don't count that.

Although I do have a couple of sponsors I have to harrass for payouts, there are a lot of holidays this time of year that can also delay payments. Victoria Day, Memorial Day, Canada Day, 4th of July...

Just saying.

I have culled my sponsor list down to a list of companies I trust (for the most part) and pay on time. I see a few irregularities but nothing of concern the past 6mos or so.

not only is it across the board in the adult industry, but personal friends and associates of mine, who work and have modest incomes are speaking of times getting more difficult by the week, utility bills are in constant "turn off" status, bank accounts overdrawn,living check to check!

Its not for a lack of effort either, recently rented a vehicle for a few weeks, and the owner of the company tells me his numbers are down 60% - 70 % over all from 2 years ago! Talk about messy!

Just got my clips4sale check today. They used to always arrive around the tenth of each month. They kept me informed, though, so it's all good. :thumbsup

ya ccbill sponsors always pay on time. i avoid all others.

Very much so. I'm really glad that I mostly promoted revshare already because almost all the PPS sponsors I was promoting have started to seriously slow pay or no pay.

Worst example of this: I even had one PPS sponsor who first told me they were having trouble running my social which apparently they do every time they owe an affiliate a check (even though they'd directly promised me never to run my social and I explicitly told them I did not give them permission to do so), then they changed my pay to info so I wouldn't be able to cash the check, then they changed my minimum payout on the same existing account so it would be higher than what they owed me . . . and then they finally sent me a check which was $25 short. The hourly wage on the collections process wasn't remotely worth it, much less bothering to send any joins.

PS Epoch also pays out for Epoch sponsors like SpookyCash with weekly aggregated sponsor dough, check or wire, same as CCBill does for CCBill programs.

Haha tell me about it. Our DVD sales i've always disliked tangible processing...

Sponsor delays should be irrelevant - some smaller processors have increased the minimum payments they make to members sites but CCBILL EPOCH and others pay consistently on time. EPASS takes time to load, wires take days sometimes if not more before posted.

For non-payment - Contact them as much as you can, retain all emails and sales stats and just ensure accountability - if your ignored for weeks for non-payment, do tell us on the boards - maybe we can find this person or put some pressure and make them accountable - if you spend time to EARN your traffic you DESERVE to be paid.

For sponsors, adjust your massive payouts if your having issues making the bills. Sometimes an enticing 40+$ signup just isn't realistic due to the conversions i'm seeing these days.

We have been seeing late payments from the banks to our merchant accounts. Not by much. But a couple of days later than they have always paid. And as an affiliate, I too can't help but notice that a lot of sponsors are unable to pay on time. One good reason for all of that can be found by looking at this weeks skin right here on GFY. :(

That's why I use CCBill for my site.


By the way, GGW is now about 1.5 years late on paying me.

Anyone got paid by AdultsAllowed yet? It's been a week now and I still haven't received my money from them... Usually I get paid a day or two after a period.

I contacted them by email and twice by ICQ but no response.

Well this time of year payments are always late it seems! But there is a lot more people that is using the postal mail this time of year as well.

Not only payments are later and later, but I have to chase program owners to get paid. Soon I will have to start naming them on boards!

i have to say pimproll's sites pay on time weekly. one of the few left.

Before you go and blame a sponsor, keep in mind that the American banking system is in the shitter right now and they seem to be messing with everything that has a lot of money.

I personally wired some money to a brokerage account the other day. it should have taken 2 days it took almost a week. when I asked, my credit union told me all banks are being careful with big money transfers because of all the money issues they have.

then why do some are still able to pay on time every week - sometimes down to the same minute - and other's no?

i think it's simply that during the great recession some are having money issues.

Platinum Bucks is NEVER late on payments, we have been paying on time for 10 years now and nothing is about to change.
