someone using firefox 3.5 here?
i am seriously hesitating when it comes to updating FF ...
so, is ff3.5 worth the shot or yet unstable? :helpme all the best :) OL' - BraveD. |
No issue here with 3.5, its smokin.
it made my penis fall off:(
yea, it's great, have been using it since it came out with no problems :thumbsup
the best browser around definitely! Blazing fast!!!
I'm using it and it's fast and also uses less ram. With the last version it used over 1gb of ram with the same amount of tabs that I have open right now. With 3.5 it's only using 300MB or ram which is a drastic difference.
I would upgrade to 3.5 if I were you. |
I'm using it for couple of days now... no problems at all...
3.5 is doing well here as well! imo more stable than 3!
I had one issue with Yahoo Toolbar. I uninstalled the toolbar and 3.5 is rocking
Another vote, 3.5 is much better than 3.0 was.
Best browser by far. Great update.
well it seems a lot faster for sure but i upgraded last night and now i can't use my squirelmail (web based email) or uproareds cash site (cms) with firefox cause both lock up firefox and just freeze up my system for 5 mins..
So i guess i'll use IE for those 2 websites which suck |
I use it and love it...
err, k, i switched and already found some glitches i dont like ...
password handling and navbar autocomplete ... both had been way more comfy in ff2 already :( |
Wont be upgrading until the 5+ extensions I use daily are compatible.
Way more stable then the last version. No problems here and much better overall.
i didnt see any speed changes at all: )

Works great for me as well. Smaller system load definitely. Seems a little faster also.
No problems here, been using it since it came out.
Works great for me.
Works great on the desktop and lappy, with WinXP and Ubuntu.

Do you still use win98 as well? The navbar autocomplete will become your best friend if you let it, if not, there are extensions that will revert it back to how it was. There are extensions that will do just about anything you need, except go back in time to when you were 'comfy'. |
No probs here!
ABP - Compatible Firebug - Compatible Roboform - Compatible Xmarks - Compatible Working fast and snappy! :) |
Nice i just updated it and it seems it works much better, and compared to last update from 2 to 3,all extensions works.
yep, works great :thumbsup

beta for 64 bit platforms - basically Linux. I understand there still is NO Flash player for 64 bit Windows. |
Yep, it's good.
I'm loving it.
I just upgraded, so far so good... Was fun having to edit my own extension to be compatible, haha.

it works, but mine keeps crashing on a certain site for some reason.
nevermind |
Works fine here. Loads pretty quickly too, but i really don't notice a big difference in loading speeds from the last version... :2 cents:
Works good for me... uses less memory and all my plugins work.
In the words of McDonald's................ I'm lovin it
Hmm seems one script interface choking in latest version,i am forced to use opera to work on it.
I rely heavily on some of the FireFox "AddOn" scripts. When I updated to FireFox 3.5 many of the "AddOns" stopped working. I had to reinstall the older version.
That said, I'm sure that the "AddOn" authors will soon update their software to be compatible with 3.5. |
no issues here!
