I was wondering how these work? Do people actually go out and get people to sign up in their area or do you just market it as saying "Green Bay Dating" and then use adult friend finder or some other site's database.. any info would be great, I'd love to start a site like this.

No, not yet. I can't seem to tell if it is a start from scratch deal, getting all of the members or if you just use geo-targeting and funnel the people to your sit to join another site once they realize all the members from their local area exist there.

Well I just promote fling, :) I guess you could use custom label dating sites AFF offers this im sure others do

Local dating sites are the best, I would post flyers around and at bars on the weekends. Also do google adwords and social media sites. My dating is global and a pain I wish it was local but I move too much lol www.theadultworld.com if you want to check it out. Also add the area in the domain name like Venicebeachdating.com ect.
