Ratios down the shitter?

I don't know what the hell has happened in the last few months, specifically last month but my ratios has skyrocketed. The majority of my traffic is straight from the google machine too. I went from <1:500 to roughly 1:2,000+ and I was down more then 50% last month.

I've been away from the boards and chit-chat lately, so how has everyone else been doing?

I recommend that you try out mobile sites. I know ours are doing extremely well. Never hurts to try something different to add to your income streams.

Homegrown is 1:197 today for all tours/sites/traffic sources. Ratios have slipped a little from our 2008 average of 1:61 but still not horrific.

There has been some slowdowns in certain areas.

I just ran a report for the month of June and our affiliates did 1:444 for the entire month. That number includes all affiliates (even the few with no sales) and is based on uniques to the first page of the tour, NOT THE JOIN PAGE.

I re-doing the way I promote on my blog. First thing was to update my WordPress theme to the latest in CSS design that is super clean. Second was to SEO using the best tools available and having fresh content. Third...use Twitter.

The third one is still in the works.

Same for me, I was shocked how bad it is now.

Its a mix of poor economy, summer slow down, tube sites, hot pants and dating sites all killing conversions at once.

worse yet is the old standbys like cams are getting so fricking oversaturated every website on the net is popping ads for them, and even more so the tubes, any surfer out there that knows how to use google has already seen the ads 1000 times before they even make it past any of the big tubesites

June was a little worse than April / May

CC market changed completely during the past year, you get more failed rebills and more failed new sign ups then ever, this affects everyone who makes their money getting someone to sign up with their CC

Have not really been "in the biz" since early 2008 but I have heard a lot about how bad things are so I decided to give it a try again. Been pushing maybe 60-70.000 clicks to various sponsors and oh my god..almost no signups at all..

One sponsor is at a 0:10.000 ratio
The rest is like 1:5000

Only thing doing ok is the dating sites and some of the cams.
And this is traffic from galleries.

Never seen numbers like this and I started out in 1999-2000

I´m glad I got out when I did but I feel bad for the rest of the affiliates struggling

I don't know how long this will go on but i've started to make sales from 2 very old sites that i converted into blogs, automatically updated using fhg's with their descriptions (modified a bit by a script) I'm now on top position for various niche keywords.
I'm selling 3 months memberships along with 30 day recurrings ! The only way to make a buck or 2 these days is to score at GG damn it. I was getting signup emails and i didn't know for what and from where it came from

a lost of 66%+/- is not bad?

livejamin was my lifesaver.. pushing 1:500 avg for a couple years.. in the last month only it jumped to 1:5000, I just spent forever trying to figure out what just happened for these bullshit numbers.
