Do any of you guys have projection style home theaters ? I have a decent sound setup right now but am using a 53" Sony TV, I would like to make the leap to projection with either CRT or DLP Projector and a 97" Screen...


Anyone with experience in this, your comments are appreciated, I am worried that the CRT warm up time will be inconvenient.

My bro owns a $15,000 projector with huge 100-120inch screen, Its a CRT and it ROCKS. CRT will give you the best picture and will give you the BEST BLACKS. All the LCD's and DLP's can't do black properly although they aren't bad either. But CRT only if you can control the light in the room, my bro has a dedicated sound room that is totally controled and its as good as the movies, but with better sound cause he spent about ohh $45,000 on amps & speakers.

DLP if you can't control the room lighting.

Damn my 42" seems so pathetic after seeing my bros setup, damn I gotta save up for a house, this apartment is pissing me off.
