Started my Monday out with a trip to the gym !!

2 Mile on the Treadmill - 1 banana - Man it feels goods to work out !!

What did you do today to get going ?

Got Porn? 06-29-2009 07:53 AM

I'm drinking a pot of coffee. I need to get back to the gym in the mornings.

MeTonyIs 06-29-2009 07:55 AM

1/2 pack of smokes and a pot of tea

Bridgette 06-29-2009 08:00 AM

That's great!!! I just did a short 2 mile run around the pond near my house...in the drizzle!

Zuzana Designs 06-29-2009 08:00 AM

It does feel great to work out. I have been walking daily and hitting the gym for an hour before I work. It makes you feel sooo good all day.

Kiwigirl 06-29-2009 08:14 AM

I started working out again today. With all the travel and work lately I haven't had much time for myself so vowed to start making time as of today.
Did 30 mins cardio and then 15 mins yoga to stretch & strengthen. It's a good start to my week! :)
Btw - Congrats Scooter on being motivated enough to get to the gym! Motivation is the hardest part! Keep up the good work my friend! :)

CIVMatt 06-29-2009 08:21 AM

That's great good for you Scooter

fallenmuffin 06-29-2009 08:32 AM

Jogged 3 miles then chest & back/ab ripper x (P90X).. working out does indeed feel good.

voa 06-29-2009 08:32 AM

Yep im as always practice in the morning

rip raster 06-29-2009 08:34 AM

Right on man morning workouts rock. :thumbsup

I have to get back to the gym myself, unfortunately I have a few health issues that I have to contend with before I can get back to it though. Although I know once I do get back into it I will feel so much better.

viki 06-29-2009 08:36 AM

i wish i could work out today but have way too much stuff to do. i've been running a 5k twice a week and try to get to the gym every weekday but it doesn't always pan out.

today i got going with an english muffin and 50 emails to answer. :)

Excellent Scooter - glad to hear it - I started throwing weights around at 6am myself - just keep at it, consistency is the most important aspect :thumbsup

I understand what you're saying - However you don't understand where I have been last year.

I have lost over 200 lbs in the last year. So for you to say it "counter productive" I have to say To each his own.:thumbsup

what speed did you have the treadmill going? I did 1 mile at 7.0 the other day and that was a good endorphin flow for me, it took a bit of willpower for me to finish the mile without slowing it down I was breathing pretty hard

Brandon99 06-29-2009 02:31 PM

Keep up the great work bro! :thumbsup

4.0 to 5.0 most of the time - Shit last year it took me 40 to 50 mins to do 1 mile at 2.0 and I was dead after that.

I agree with you! I've been working out faithfully since the beginning of April Monday through Friday.. it does make you feel soo much better.

raven1083 06-29-2009 07:52 PM

just a coffee and a stick of cigarette.

tony286 06-29-2009 10:01 PM

Walked the dogs today. It was too hot for them I have to get up earlier before the real heat starts. I plan to walk them in the morning and hit the gym at night. As of Sunday I have lost 70 lbs and it was a big deal because the three past weeks I was under a extreme amount of stress and didnt try to eat it away.. A 170 more to go and then Im done. lol

Wow, what was your starting weight? I use to be 240 got down to 185 then back to 209 started P90X and I'm currently at 190... Still on Phase 1 though 75 more days to go.

If you can lose so much why stop at a target that's pretty heavy. Its incredible if you do get to the 240 range, but maybe you can find a way to keep on going.

it would 226 and thru training and totally changing the way I deal with stress it will probably go lower. I also plan adding a bunch of muscle and I figured I had to have some number out there for a far away goal. lol

Choopa Phil 06-30-2009 05:28 AM

thats awesome and i totally agree with you 110% your feat was HUGE that you accomplished. However, u could spair muscle wasting and increase muscle production and fat burning if you increased your caloric intake. its alot of hard work your putting in why not try to get the best and healthiest results possible
