No, Iīm another one. Didnīt receive the payment for May yet.

tranza 06-30-2009 06:51 AM

I just got this e-mail from them:

For all of our affiliates using ePassporte to receive funds, we regret to
announce that we are experiencing a problem with our most recent (May 2009)
transfer. We made the payment as we always do, complete and on time, but
due to technical issues on the part of ePassporte, the payments are still
pending, and we are doing our best to figure out what exactly has happened
and how we can fix this problem as soon as possible. Rest assured that
Orgycash has in fact made the payments, and everyone will receive their
proper payments as soon as we can sort this out. Affiliates who receive
money through bank wire transfers have already received their money as
usual. We sincerely apologize for the delay and are doing what we can.
If anybody has had similar experiences with ePassporte in the past we would
be interested in hearing about it.

Thanks for your patience,
Camron

I couldn't agree more.

After he left, they announced quite a lot of unpleasent changes (charging webmasters for chargebacks, deducting a 5% credit card fee from all sales and adding an Epass payment fee).

Also, my user/pass to their members area stopped working, and when I asked for a new one it took them 1 full week, after several e-mails sent back and forth, to get a new one. They simply didn't want to give me content to promote them, even though I was sending them quite a lot of sales every month for over a year already.

This payment delay truly makes me worry. Even more now that I heard that people got their wires delayed too (even though they state on the e-mail that wires were sent on time).

:(

Michael O 06-30-2009 07:34 AM

I can confirm they have contacted us regarding an issue with their payouts. We are looking into the issue to find out why it was not sent properly. This should be solved soon.

Camron from Orgycash - ePassporte issue

Hey Everyone,
Camron from Orgycash up in here ? sorry for not replying sooner, I was having some problem with my GFY account. I'm repeating several other people in this thread, but here goes:
Yes, we are having an issue with our most recent ePassporte transfer (May 2009). Basically, the money was paid in full and on time as usual, but it seems to have vanished somewhere in the process. So, this means we are missing a huge sum of money, and so far we have been able to trace it all the way to ePassporte, but from there it has yet to make it to all of our affiliate webmasters. The webmasters who receive payment through bank wire transfer received their money as usual. I'm not bashing on ePassporte at all, as we have been using them with no problem for quite some time, but unfortunately this time around we seem to have run into a major problem. We in no way are trying to rip anybody off and right now we are the ones in a bit of a crisis with such a large amount gone! So, for anybody on here who is affected, please bear with us as we work with ePassporte and everybody else we can. This is an unfortunate situation, but we're doing what we can!
As for Orgycash, well, no need to give a marketing spiel on this thread, but if anybody has noticed a lack of activity, externally, on my (our) part, it's because we're hard at work on big things behind the scenes and are looking forward to transitioning (hopefully smoothly :) into a new system, so we're not pumping all the effort into the current format as we once did. More on that when the time comes. If anybody has comments/suggestions/complaints, of course, feel free to hit me up in an email ? I always get back asap!

Camron

Fabien 07-01-2009 05:21 AM

Wow, so the money is lost somewhere ?

caakhave 07-01-2009 06:33 AM

Seems to be the case - talked to a few others in the industry that this has happened to in the past, so it's not a first. We can trace the transfer up to a certain point, but then yeah, it pretty much disappears. The banks and ePassporte are being helpful, but these things take some time, and every passing day is damaging. Kind of just playing the waiting game right now as the hunt is on. If it was a small amount of money we would just make the transfer again in the meantime, but unfortunately it is not at all a small amount. Will answer any questions and post when this is resolved - otherwise, this is where we're at...

Hi there Camron,

Can I ask you one thing? Based on other sponsors and Epass past experiences, do you guys have an estimate of how long it should take to straight things out??

caakhave 07-01-2009 07:38 AM

I really wish I could give a concrete answer, but I'm afraid I would just be digging a deeper hole because honestly I don't know. We've never had this problem, but talking to others it was generally "after week or two of email tag we got it worked out". I can say that as of yesterday our payment dept. received from ePass the "I have sent this information to our Accounting department. I will notify you once located and loaded to your account." email. So, it's in the process, but we're pretty much at their mercy at the moment and would like that answer as much as anyone else affected. :Oh crap

Michael O 07-01-2009 08:02 AM

OK
I guess you did not receive this answer from the business account office, I sent it again to you via ICQ.

brassmonkey 07-01-2009 08:59 AM

hope its settled soon

Fabien 07-01-2009 09:21 AM

Anyways, when it's sorted, please post what you can tell us so it doesn't happen to other sponsors or to Epass in a way ?

Very odd and i'm sure it's not a transfer of only 1000$ !!!!!

Thanks for keeping us updated (both of you)

Absolutely.

Michael O 07-02-2009 08:18 AM

we are working with OrgyCash to get this solved. Its a case of a wire being stuck somewhere in the banking system.
OrgyCash send the wire to us but we have not received it but we are doing all we can to get this solved and OrgyCash is doing the same.

just a punk 07-02-2009 08:31 AM

Personally I'm using pay-by-CCBill option at orgycash, but I have other problems with them. For example, I can't pull their RSS feeds to my splogs at Czech servers because they are redirecting all Czech traffic to some TGP. WFT is going on there????

P.S. Their support keeps silence like Belorussian partisan in Gestapo.

Most of our servers have always been unavailable from Czech/Slovak IP addresses for privacy/security reasons concerning our models (fairly standard), but due to a recent incident concerning a model we had to bump it up to an even more secure level, banning CZ/Slovak completely. I have asked about disabling webmaster blogs again, and if you send me an email camron[at]orgycash.com we can discuss it, maybe whitelist you or something...

If you're talking about our main site support I can't speak for them, and I have been told by some people for whatever reason that using our contact form doesn't seem to reach me, so just write to the address above. The only emails that go unanswered, ever, are those I get every week asking "How can I be in your next party!!!???" so maybe you're talking about that. I can talk to the right people if that's what you're looking for, maybe we can make something happen :pimp

Any news about Epass payments?

It's been 1 week since this thread was started, and I just got their e-mail saying that they are closing 3 sites.

Hey guys, just got back from out of town for the long holiday weekend (not 4th of July, another holiday here in the CZ) so I have asked our payment guy first thing this morning about any update so I will let you know when I hear something (though from the number of emails in my box this morning it doesn't seem as though there has been any change :( ) In all honesty I have nothing to do with actually making the payments, so I have to wait to get my news through another source.
Yep, just lost three of our partner (not in-house) sites. I guess something went down between chq here and that partner, really don't know the details. Shit happens I guess, not the first porn sites on the net to go down. We're looking into replacements now as I'm told...

tranza 07-07-2009 07:23 AM

E-mail update:

To our ePassporte affiliates awaiting payment:

As you all know, we are experiencing a payment problem with ePassporte at
the moment, affecting payments from May 2009. As we have yet to see any
real progress or solutions presented, we are suspending our ePassporte
payments for the time being, until this issue is resolved, and as a result
are requesting that any affiliates who can do so to please switch over to
the bank wire transfer option. This will ensure that you receive your
money from now on, because these transfers are made directly from us, with
no third-party middleman (ePassporte). We have no direct control over
whatever is happening with the May ePassporte transfer, as they are not
part of our company. As stated in the FAQ:

"Orgycash will not be held liable for payments that are not made by the
fault of ePassporte, either through human or electronic errors, or through
acts of God. ePassporte is a virtual currency payment gateway, and using it
does carry different risks than a traditional billing platform."

If you do continue to use ePassporte, out of desire or necessity, please
keep in mind that the risk is yours, and that any mishaps are not a
reflection of Orgycash, as all payments will be made on the part of our
company. Again, ePassporte services from our side will be suspended until
the May 2009 payment is cleared.

We do fully intend to follow through with this issue until everyone is paid
in full, but in the meantime, we feel it is best to recommend bank wire
transfer as the only completely reliable method of payment.
This notice is intended to be the most up to date and final word for now,
as of July 7th, until we hear anything new, at which point we will make
another announcement.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but please don't let this
unfortunate situation reflect on Orgycash, as we have done our part and
are still trying our best to deal with the issue as we can.

Yours,
Camron / Orgycash
[email protected]

caakhave 07-07-2009 08:09 AM

Sheesh, I come back from a meeting after sending the email and come here to post it and it's already up...shoulda known. Yeah, bottom line, chq will no longer deal with ePassporte until this is resolved, so fair warning for all using it to go to a more secure method...

klinton 07-07-2009 09:11 AM

i don't plan to change payment method and I am still waiting for the epass....

Thumbnailer 07-07-2009 12:19 PM

1000+ sponsors use epassporte and send payments with no problems, yes there are delays sometimes, but it is not the reason to stop using epass at all.

Please answer this:

Will you pay affiliates for May 2009 somehow? Even if its "lost" for good?

tranza 07-07-2009 01:29 PM

"Shoulda known" what?

That we are actually looking after our money, and expecting an answer and updates?

Could you please answer Thumbnailer question? How/when we will be receiving our May payout?

caakhave 07-08-2009 02:29 AM

That email was the latest update, but to clarify:
The May payment has been sent to all, so I don't believe it will be made again, but we are confident after talking to other companies having gone through similar things, that it will be resolved once enough pressure is applied. But please remember that we are not ePass, so we cannot do anything from their side. We don't want to throw more money at them until this is solved, so as stated, we are suspending any activity concerning ePass until they send the money. So, if it is resolved by the time we make the next payment, great, nothing needs to change, if not, only bank wire transfers will be sent so we can be sure that the money gets to its destination.

frank7799 07-08-2009 04:19 AM

fault of ePassporte, either through human or electronic errors, or through

So the question is if itīs Epassportes fault that the payments have not arrived yet.

Iīm interested in further information.

Did Orgycash load their account properly and did Epassporte fuck up? Or is it the ohter way round?

Itīs easy to blame Epassporte, but Iīd like to hear the reason why to blame them.:2 cents:

caakhave 07-08-2009 06:27 AM

So I went to the very top and got our statement, just for you GFYers. We politely ask that this not be posted anywhere else online...This is a cropped version, but as you can see the date is the 17th of June, the time of the month when we always make the transfer (because it always takes 7-10ish days). ePass has this, and for the last time, "they are looking into it". The only thing they have said is that maybe it has something to do with the fact that the German "Mai" is written there instead of "May", but that's bs, it could say "happy birthday" (and that was mentioned over a week ago anyway) - the money has been sent.
This is my final word on this topic until there actually is another word to say. If anybody has anything to ask, please email me (to the address written in a post above).
And fucking hell, no, I didn't just make this in Photoshop :)

**Apparently I'm not able to post images or external links yet, so I hope I don't get in trouble for this, but check out the statement here: allwamclips.c-o-m / epassporte_statement.jpg

And btw, I wasn't going to mention this, as I like to assume that it has nothing to do with this situation, but did anybody read about the US government seizure of online gambling funds (big part of ePassporte) in June, right about the time our payment went through? Don't know what affect that would have, but seems like interesting timing to freeze a large transfer...just search on Google.

miscak 07-08-2009 06:38 AM

And what about the payments that will be made for June 2009? Will you pay that on Epass?

Apparently not. He stated it clearly in his E-MAIL. And this decision is right if Epassporte messed up the May payments.

BTW the link he posted went 404 for me.

klinton 07-08-2009 12:01 PM

afair i had similar situation in autumn 2007 (or 2008 ;o ) with some sponsor and it got resolved within few weeks... like 2 or 3.

i just hope that i don't have to worry too much again on this... :)

Great! Glad to finally hear it, guys. I have received a few emails this morning confirming payments, so hopefully that goes for everybody involved. Of course if your payment still hasn't gone through for some reason send me an email. Sorry for the unpleasant situation, hopefully that will never happen again. For now we will continue to offer ePassporte as a payment option, but if we decide to get away from it in the near future I will definitely let everyone know.
