However, these types of urban legends are meant to be broken. For example: the Washington Redskins' game performance accurately predicted who will win the presidential election...... until the election of 2004.

So patterns don't necessarily mean cause and effect...

I think Vince from ShamWow had something to do with Billy Mays. It makes no sense, His beard granted him powers beyond those of mortal men. I think perhaps a piece of his beard became dislodged when he was struck on the head, allowing thousands of years of aging to catch up with him Killing him instantly.

I thought I was the only one who noticed the death-in-threes thing with famous people...

But actually the FF-MJ equation was started with Ed MacMahon.... so it's over.

He was on the plane that landed here in Tampa, then blew out the front tires. They say the plane bounced back up again and he hit his head... went to bed last night complaining he didn't feel well, then never woke up. Maybe US Airways gonna get some bad publicity?

Beats me... I think one of the stories I saw said that something fell from the overhead storage and hit him on the noggin.

You know what. There have only been three.

Ed McMahon is the first, Michael Jackson is the second, and Billy Mays is the third.

Farah Faucet doesn't count because I've never even heard of her until she died.

The strange thing is that I was watching Conan last week and Billy Mays was on the show and then I found out about his reality show. The last episode aired on the 24th. So I downloaded all 11 episodes and I watched the first one last night.

The show wasn't too bad.

And now he's dead.

David Caribou or whatever his name is is a nobody and I've never even heard of him until he died either.

And he died too long ago to even be considered.

And another thing. Who the hell came up with the threes? Why do things have to come in threes?
