You haters just don't like big CGI movies. These types of movies aren't supposed to have great acting or plots. They're just about blowing stuff up. The theatre was packed again today. I think it will definitely beat Batman

The movie was "dumbed down" to appeal to a wider audience. Nothing wrong with that. Not sure how you are trying to compare it to Dark Knight. Transformers is no where near as good as Dark Knight.


Michael Bay is an AWFUL story teller. Just plain awful. No character development. If you're content with big explosions and NO story I suggest a box of matches and fireworks. Those will have more depth than a Michael Bay movie.

Can't stand the PG bullshit on action or horror movies. I will watch it on dvd but if it's worse then the first one fuck it.

Why not? Seriously, why not? With a 200 million dollar budget, is having a decent plot written really out of reach? If you're going to spend over a million dollars per minute of film, is wooden acting really necessary?

i just watched it... i don't know the first thing about transformers. didn't watch the first one.

i thought it was very entertaining to watch

my wife liked it and she usually doesn't like anything with guns or explosions :)

i coulda done without the comic relief urban-bots. aside from that it wasn't quite the tripe the reviews made it out to be. giant robots, explosions, guns, upskirts, and cleavage! I AM PLEASED!

It missed topping it by less than 2 million. That could have been because of MJ.

Just saw it tonight, great action flick.

I liked it, but im also a huge transformers fan. I think if you have a decent background knowledge of the characters it helps a lot, but i agree there wasnt much of a story.

Most box office blockbusters are.

The plot was non existent and many scenes should have been left on the cutting room floor for example the random Decepticon disguised as smoking hot college girl. They found another hot chick and HAD to fit her in, was an afterthought and it didn't belong.

That said I did LOVE the movie. I wanted to see shit blown up and I got my money's worth.

Just got back from a 10:30 pm showing on Sunday and theatre was mostly full.. maybe 30-40 seats left.

Funny movie... Stupid Sam... what a bumbling idiot.

I didn't think that new chick was that hot. She kind of looked like a skeleton.

I agree she wasn't Megan Fox but I'd hit it :smokin
