Transformers 2 Sucked
 

Went to see it this week; I was bored and couldn't wait for the movie to end. Transformers 1 was oh so much better.

Damn, you are ruining it for me.

I have heard that it was pretty bad. A few reviews say it was too long with too much special effects jammed in. I'll go see it just for Megan Fox:)

It did seem kinda long. Pretty much zero character development. Pretty much anything and everything did blow up.

I will go and make my own mind up if its good or not. I don't listen to critics they are almost always wrong:error

Rotten Tomatoes gave Terminator Salvation just a little better than Transformers 2, and I thought Terminator Salvation kicked ass. If the complaint it is too loud and too much CGI, then I can't wait!

For those that think it sucked cause it was too long.. how did you feel about The Dark Knight (Batman)? To me that movie was too long.. it had several times when you thought the movie was over but nope there is more.. Great movie but cause it's so long i won't rewatch the blue ray as much as other movies i liked

I don't care how many of these threads pop up saying 2 sucks I'm still excited to see it and since yahoo users seem to love it but critics hate it i'm sure i'll love it as the critics are always expecting something more or different anyways.. I'm expecting a long movie that will get us ready for the next one.. the first one was just to see if there was interest in that 80's toy but after that they have to write out as close to the orginal story for the next movies.. Look at new Star Wars movies. Some said EP 2 and 3 were long and drawn out but they had to be to tie up strings to make the 20year old EP4 work with the new movies

Someone once told me never to see a movie who's title ends in a number.

I just watched Revolutionary Road, and that had some great acting, but it doesn't have 50ft fighting robots that transform into cars. It also doesn't have giant gasoline explosions. Where am I going to see my giant gasoline explosions that I love so much?

...and oh yeah. Megan Fox, and Megan Fox, and giant gasoline explosions.

Look elsewhere for character development....

Just got back. Thought the storyline was ok but there is so much non-stop action that it really didn't matter. Kept me entertained pretty much the entire time. Nobody is going to to win any Oscars for acting in this one but I thought it was really good. And I can't remember how many times the place exploded with laughter at the funny parts (very adult humor).

I saw it and it rocked. if you like robots kicking ass non stop, its great.

...yes, i am going more to check out the special effects

I will probably end up waiting for the blu ray of it to come out

I should've waited for DVD. Lesson learned. I only hope they dont make a transformers 3

This movie was made for 10 year olds, you IDIOTS!

The first Transformers was a piece of crap.

as long as you dont mind your ten year old saying bitch all the time cuz of the movie robots or motherfucker, then i guess it is for a 10 year old. the problem with the movie as i said in another thread is that there was no introduction to characters. we already knew them. there is nothing new in this movie except for some bad ass transformer vehicles such as swide and the fact that they made a transformer that needed a cane to walk and gave devastator a pair of nuts. it was the same as the first movie with way more battles and destruction. it was just really long. at least you cant complain if you pay 6 bucks for the movie like me. if you just wanna go to see shit blow up, then you will be very entertained. the plot line was very much based on the cartoon this time. the graphics are great. the plot was good. its just that we/ve already seen a transformers so there was only so much they can do. i couldnt imagine there being a part 3, although i would go to see it just for the new robots that they would make.

I should have added that anyone with a nic that included "(stoner)" in it has less than zero credibility.

Saw it last night with my five-year old son, who is a Transformers fanatic. He fell asleep. That says a lot.

To me, there were too many new robots running around and no real character development. I personally didn't like the new "ebonic robot twins" and some of their foul language. The SR-71 was the only one with any real character.

On the flip side, watching Megan Fox in those cutoff shorts was worth the price of admission. Now if they'll only do the next one in 3-D... :thumbsup
