How many of you have a Home Gym?

Just wondering....

GrouchyAdmin 06-25-2009 09:18 PM

I have a home me.

I hear those are all the rage.

tical 06-25-2009 09:22 PM

I tried and would never use it... the only thing I kept was the treadmill and elliptical... now I just hit up Gold's after 10pm.

WAY better than any other gym out here (24 hr, lvac)... 3-4 guys working out vs like 20 at the others...

Rick Diculous 06-25-2009 09:24 PM

I have a Nautilus SelecTech Dumbbell set and it's awesome

Hey man, I joined Mark Beecher's MMA gym off of Spring Mountain and Jones. You still training?

baddog 06-25-2009 10:03 PM

I have a totalgym and ride a bicycle a few miles every night.

3xTom 06-25-2009 10:07 PM

I have a home gym...

All that equipment is awesome for hanging your cloths on..

NetHorse 06-25-2009 10:07 PM

I have a hoist home gym and an elliptical. Got a membership to a real gym and realized home gyms are useless for strength training. Anyone in the Chicago area want to buy my home gym for cheap? :upsidedow

It looks a little like this

Spunky 06-25-2009 10:13 PM

I walk to the fridge for a beer every 15 mins

Drake 06-26-2009 12:15 AM

No, just have a couple free weights for curls and a treadmill.

I prefer to do most of my working out at the co-ed gym I have a membership to.

fallenmuffin 06-26-2009 12:29 AM

I don't have a home gym nor room for one in my current apartment. But I am currently on week 2 of P90X. And have dumbbells, bands, yoga blocks and a few other things I use during the workouts.

Shit is intense.

VIPimp 06-26-2009 12:43 AM

I have a full gym... just have not used any of it in a very long time.

Mike Semen 06-26-2009 01:10 AM

Just set up a Weider weight bench 3 days ago, and had my mountain bike serviced. Not used either yet. lol

Chosen 06-26-2009 01:21 AM

RazorSharpe 06-26-2009 01:38 AM

These leverage gyms are much better than the usal stacking home gyms.

SGS 06-26-2009 01:42 AM

Had one for years. Keeps you fit and makes a fabulous room to shoot in too.

Manowar 06-26-2009 03:16 AM

have membership to one just round the corner

Yeah, they obviously believe in their machines; the warranty is excellent. Lifetime frame cover and 10 years on the motor.

Chicks Delivery 06-26-2009 05:54 AM

I don't!

gornyhuy 06-26-2009 05:58 AM

I tend toward boxing/body weight style workouts. Half is actually in my (home) office, the rest is in the basement for logistical reeasons:

Office:
-pullup, dips, roman chair, dumbells

Basement:
-treadmill, heavybag, jumpropes, etc.

tranza 06-26-2009 06:43 AM

I've got a gym equipment recently, but I never used it... Will unmounting it today thought

Dirty Lord 06-26-2009 06:47 AM

yes sir... I train 5 days a week 8 hours a day... sometimes 11 hours...

I train at wanderlei's and teach and gracie's

cjhmdm 06-26-2009 06:48 AM

With the amount of sex my wife and I have, would that count as a home gym?

CDSmith 06-26-2009 06:58 AM

I have a home gym in the basement -- a multi-gym (bench press, lat pulldowns, leg extentions etc)
an exercycle I rarely use
and an ab bench

I've been riding my mountain bike lately, up to about 10-12 km per day right now. It's a great warm-up for the resistance workout.

mad skills and large livng, exactly my style!

Steve OSS 06-26-2009 11:08 AM

I do not at the moment...I would like to have something official once I have more room; dumbells and the perfect pushup is what I'm working with at home.

NaughtyRob 06-26-2009 11:09 AM

Just a good old fashioned weight bench in the garage.

HomerSimpson 06-26-2009 11:59 AM

had it but never actually used it so I sold it since it was just taking place and collecting dust...

yes I'm a lazy as fuck...

Furious_Male 06-26-2009 12:14 PM

I have a full set up in my basement. I prefer to work out at home. Two benches, squat rack, pull up/dip tower, full set of hex dbells, 2 Olympic free weight sets, 2 standard free weight sets, heavy bag, medicine balls, bands, treadmill etc.

I finished it once, i'm about to start it again. The plyometrics workout is unfuckingreal. I thought I was in decent shape until i did plyo.

Shameless 06-26-2009 02:24 PM

I've been training with my friend Henry Aikens whos a Gracie Black Belt on this stuff http://www.monkeybargym.com/cart/ The power wheel and the split jungle gym are lets put this nicely, humbling! The split jungle gym you can do dips, pull ups, push ups, rows ect all using you body weight and using core stabilizers. Shit, just try hanging from one one handed, I guarantee you will not last 10 seconds. Most of our grips are very weak. You wanna be sore in a whole new way, try these. They give you functional muscles that are strong from the inside out. I trained on Tues and am still feeling it.
