When getting a new video camera should I get hd or sd?
 

HD has been such a pain from my experiences. Always loads super slow on everyones computer, video files are larger and take longer to load, HD is more expensive. Seems like the net is just not ready for HD yet. What do you think, I don't know much about this since I kind of stopped shooting when HD was getting popular? Can you still shoot good video on SD, like a canon XL1?

Are you talking about shooting content or personal stuff? but either way, HD is the way to go :thumbsup

For personal I just use an old mini DV still, does the job well enough for family stuff and lol does not stand out at a family BBQ like an XL-1 lol.


So for biz, only way to go is HD? I'm kind of expecting everyone to say that, I just have to hear it a few times to make me feel comfortable on my decision when getting a camera.
