I do visit some of those "conspiracy" sites though because they are really interesting.

yeah they do - was a local case here where the evidence was google search urls from the isp.

I work at an ISP, and we do not track what sites you search. However, there are private companies that do track whats sites you visit and they hand out DMCA violations for copyright enfringement, illegal activities, etc and send them to your ISP.
